Just a note: if you use DriveClone Pro, you need to backup your C drive where Windows is installed + the small 100mb partition that it created when you installed it. If you don't backup both you might not be able to restart the backup

Exactly, that's the way, and that's why so much people say Windows sucks, because they leave everything in default, and it actually sucks when in default.

Anyway, going back to the topic: I use DriveClone Pro. Everytime I format my friends or familys computer I create a backup with it. Whenever their noobness ruins the installation, they just restore and everything is like before. I works perfect, without any usb key, cd or shit like that, just click on restore and leave it do the job. It even works on the same hard disk with a different partition. And is not a quick patch over the old installation that makes everthing messy, it actually formats your partition and installs the back up.

No, graphics are not as bad as GTA IV, but they are still kinda bad for todays standards. I know is not easy to do better when you have such a big city and that amount of detail, especially if it has to run on old consoles, so lets say they are good enought to enjoy the game... Can't wait!

Finally found out how to organize it in a way I like

1st Default apps
2nd Metro apps that I downloaded
3rd My Computer and folders
4th Most used software



As I used to do since XP, the "all programs" window is organized by categories. Useless shorcuts are hidden, so all the apps are visible, no need to scroll to the right to see them all.



Old and kinda useless dekstop with same color as the Metro one and with no icons. In this way I don't feel the continuous desktop switching, feels the same just with no tiles. And because of the way I organized the rest, I don't need any icon in there.

Exactly... I lost any hope about playing GTA in my PC after the crappy port GTA IV, so GTA V is gonna be played in the PS3 that I initially bought only for GT5...

Metro is great, I'm loving it, the problem for me is that they didn't adapt it to every single screen and application, making it weird when you switch from one to another all the time. Everytime I go from metro to the old one feels like travelling to the past in a time machine... Hopefully sooner or later, maybe with Win 9, we will only see the new style and we can finally say good by to the classic one, which is been with us for too long and was time to replace it.

I agree with you guys, the game has some extremely annoying and unacceptable points, but the overall experience still feels good for me.

Just happened at Tsukuba for example. The race starts, I am 12th. First checkpoint, it says I am 15 seconds behind the first car. Is fine, there are 5 laps to go so I can make it. I just continue driving normally, passing a couple of cars and arrive to the second checkpoint (which in a short track like Tsukuba is just few meters ahead...) And the gap between me and the first car is 25 seconds now?? WTF And of course, 5 laps for such a huge gap is not enough to win... what the hell is this? What am I supposed to do?

Actualy the reason why I haven't bought the Mamba yet is because I barely play PC titles anymore... just GT5

It's actually a pretty decent one, very smooth, high resolution laser, adjustable weight, game profiles on the fly... I've been thinking of getting a Razer Mamba but since I'm quite happy with it I will wait until it dies... or until I get a desktop PC.

You must be dealing with the standard cars I guess... check the premium ones, they look very nice. Yeah is kinda of shitty to have this two kind of cars, but I've realised that the cars in the garage and menu look worse than they actually do in the track, the ingame shading does a good job with the low poly models I think...
