I've seen this hundred times in Best Motoring. Check this video as example, go to 1:30 and check what Tsuchiya does when aproaching the braking point. What is that for? I've seen other drivers too, some of them at even more than 2 seconds from the braking point. Anyone knows why? I think they do it so soft that they don't actually brake. Why do they do it then?
I agree is a Veyron killer and I'd love to have in my garage, but being a car design student myself, I can tell you the concept of "sexy" is not present in a car designed exclusively to perform. What's more, that car has probably been designed by an engineer, just like an F1, since no one cares how the car looks as long as it faster than the competition.
In my opnion there are other terms that fit with the looking of the Atom, like hot, awesome, exciting, astonishing, pure... but sexy means a different thing
1 -That's just not the right place to set a shifter Impossible to see that in Europe
2- Usually they have a button you have to push in order to move the shifter. Instead, this one works when brake is pressed
That depends on the user. It took me half an our, 2 galons of fuel (engine was started) and 46 pages of the manual to discover how to set the D gear in a Cadillac Escalade
A friend of mine is playing with an Intel QX6850 and a HD5670 and the game runs at 24 constant fps, doesn't matter the settings in the graphic options. He says it looks smooth though.
I just tried it in my laptop and runs at 32 fps, constant, with everything maxed out. Specs:
Feels like 60fps (this happens in a lot of games, I wonder if Fraps is measeuring wrong ) No lag or stuttering problems so far
About the game, looks like Dirt 2, not real but not extremely arcade. The difference is that keyboard is not that good for a race track game where you must be as accurate as you can, but seems to be playable. I'll give it a go in my desktop with the G25 tonight
Downloading, I´ll try tomorrow the PC version. I expect an easy but entertaining game, just like Dirt 2, something you can play with keyboard and have fun
Bose321 gave you the minimum, here are the recommended
* Windows XP/Vista/7
* DirectX 9.0c
* Intel Core 2 Duo a 2,66 GHz o Athlon X2 4200+
* 2 GB RAM
* GeForce 9800 or ATI Radeon HD 4850
* 12,5 GB hard disk free space
I managed to download it, have tested it with keyboard in my laptop... and uninstalled it after 5 minutes. I'll give it a go with the G25. If I see I can win any kind of price I might consider buying it
I get my HTC HD Mini some months ago, it's just perfect for me. Small, portable, good looking, smooth, amazing battery life, high build quality and the most useful device you can have in your pocket. But smartphones are very personal, so just read reviews and make your decision...
