In short, you don't take it seriously enough to play iRacing
I still love the LFS project, but the way Scawen wants to develop it (which I completely understand and respect) is making me to lose interest...

My way: Select the car with the pen tool, then feather selection about 100 pixels, layer via copy. Then add gausian blur/motion blur to the layer below and you're done.
That's what most people do, nothing wrong with it
I've been playing iRacing this summer, no LFS at all, and I haven't informed about that in the LFS forum

I love the battle on the grass between the Audi and the Mercedes, especially at the end, when the Audi leaves and the Mercedes spins. Quattro FTW

- Your chair doesn't shake
- You don't feel G forces
- There are not fake effects like in NFS games (motion blur, fake shaking of the camera, etc)
So yeah, I guess is quite normal that you don't feel it. In RBR could be because the default camera is set with a real FOV (which sucks unless you have 3 screens), ground is bumpy and because rally stages are very narrow.
