Motion bloor, hdr, aracade physics, a lot of rice... that's what most people want and that's what NFS offers, as simple as that. (I'm not one of them though)
How much ram memory does your pc have? Did you optimize Windows? Because it loads a lot of crap by default... Anywaw, I guess is normal since a single core cpu is very week for Vista/7... I think you still can improve your frame rate, but in XP will be always higher
This has an explanation. Most part of people who play computer play SIMS, NFS, arcade shooters... and they want flashy and unreal but attractive graphics and a lot of fake effects. I'm sorry, but we are minority
The sound, AI, playability, story and so on in 2000 were as good as it is nowadays. Graphics are the only thing which have been improved over the years. So IMO game developers suck (but LFS ones )
BTW your pics comparison is really bad:
- GTA IV is not a driving game, Flat Out is.
- GTA IV has to show a FULL city, Flat Out just a race track.
- Put some AA in the GTA pics please, those screens hurt my eyes.
Get any phone better than iPod and you'll have: phone, camera, GPS, computer, radio, TV...
If you want an iPhone just because it looks cool and it has hundred of useless but funny features, then go for it.
As for the camera, for taking stupid pictures with your friends and some shots during a trip for uploading them to Facebook, any built in camera of a nice phone should be enough.
For me is just ok, but looks kinda generic, not agressive and old (old in the bad sense, it is not a retro style). These designs are from 2006 (from my school) and they look much more fresh.
As a car designer student, I'm pretty sure they could have done much more.
In my opinion, no. Your taste depends on yourself, but if a car is sex or not, is a fact and it does not depend on anything. Thus, there can be a car I don't like but I admit it's sexy. That's my PoV
