Superpole just before the event? That would be cruel to those that get dropped, after practicing and turning up. Would be easier to take hotlap times that can be done between now and deadline.

I voted hotlap with the car you intend racing with, no point hotlapping in a car you're not going to use in the league.

Since there is a difference in world record times between the 2 cars, how about applying the difference as a handicap?
i.e. if hotlap is at Blackwood GP, the difference between RAC and FZ5 is 0.15 sec - FZ5 entrants get 0.15 sec knocked off their hotlap time.

The idea of changing cars causes a BIG penalty in my opinion. Even an alien cannot beat a GTR type car with the road going equivalent.

I've tried a series of races where the winners get passengers as penalties, and that had about the right effect.

or thought about forcing harder compound tyres for winners? (don't know how you would enforce that)

I'm trying to help a colleague who's computer has been wiped and he can't find the installation discs (2 discs). It's got a valid licence sticker on the case saying Windows XP Media Centre Edition 2005

I've tried to download a copy using P2P but after 4 attempts, they turn out to be 2002 version (and so licence code doesn't work) or in a Far Eastern language!

Can't even find anyone selling the discs on ebay

I undertand there are headphones with 6 internal speakers to give directional feedback - I hope LFS supports that in the future, then I would be straight out to buy some!

I've seen some routers have 'throttling', where you can specify a minimum bandwidth to certain LAN IP addresses, but that means new hardware!
i.e. 10% for PC1, 20% for PC2, rest shared between PC1, PC2, PC3 & PC4

Some suggestions if I may be so impertinent;

Have different lowfuel values for constant LED and flashing LED. That way it would be possible to have an LED come on at say 5% and flash at 2%.

Can the prog sense when LFS is not running? Might be handy to have it flash an LED when I forget to switch wheel power supply off

I found that Logitech profiler would occassionally forget my MOMO racing was connected, with loss of programmed buttons etc.
I solved that by setting 'Apply persistant profile' under 'Options' 'Global profiler settings'
