If u play LFS in a daily basis or spend atleast 2-3 evenings a week visiting online servers, u will see no words like "Russian monkeys" or any real racism/nacism neither.

Sobolev, or new attacks in Ukraine, and Russian soldiers fleeing, and there are attacks even on Russia. And Prigozhin is trying to make a point about every single one of these things. And at the same time you pull out any one news item about Prigozhin and talk as if you all know what it's about. There the news gets so passionate, it's worse than a Spanish soap opera. There are literally a bunch of news items on Prigozhin and Wagner every day. At least tell us the point more or less to understand what you are talking about.

On China it could be, China is constantly trying to turn events to its advantage, which is understandable. But speaking of the future we start to put a crystal ball on the table, I would prefer not to do that.

Being a user of fast TN and slow but bigger(32) VA just wanna add that i personally prefer LFS on a bigger one, even it has only 60hz, just because of correct fov settings. No super fast lap times still, just pleasure of seeing this game how it supposed to look

Being an active mouse player nowadays and DFGT owner back in the days, personally i can just say that even properly tuned mouse steering is not half as fun as a cheap ffb wheel. In the other hand LFS is a most mouse-friendly simracing game so it will be pretty easy to manage how to make ur mouse driving to be "direct enough" maybe not best lap times, but fun

For ingame options its 0 steering centre reduction (to achieve good control when drifting 0 is necessary IMO), however this setting depends from person to person.
Button rate 10(max), as soon as it wont work as strictly ON and OFF even with this setting maxed out, but still gives advantage of precise throttle and brake control, speaking of which, i've seen some fast mouse players who use external drivers like VJOY with GlovePie scripts to map mouse buttons as virtual axes which are far more configurable and could be tuned separately for throttle and brake.
Then u may see an another important parameter related to steering in Options-Misc called "Analogue steer smooth", this one goes to 0 of course. Some people say that even ffb strength setting can affect the mouse steering too, so u may want to play with "."-more force and ","-less force parameters which could be set online when driving on track. Button binds and etc are personal preferencies, but classic LMB-throttle RMB-brake is just fine.

Speaking about more control, i'd just recommend to buy some decent gaming mice with adjustable DPI, then go in range of 800-3200 as soon as extra low values always provide some kind of input latency during slow movements, compared to fast moves which are always same in terms of sensor delay for the whole DPI range. So if u dont use flickshots while driving, that may be helpful. And otherwise some super high dpi modes may be jitterish especially in 10$ "gaming" mice with cheap hardware, so cranking up to highest possible setting is a bad idea.

When all software and hardware configurations are done just use sensitivity bar in your OS to adjust comfort steering range in LFS.

Looking forward for 1000hz smoothness with any framerate but, well, still wondering if we get new tyre physics and 1000hz at the same time or those updates come separated?

Just in case of some future hardware updates, does it really mean 1000fps/maxHZ will become a point of competitive racing?
As a mouse player should i buy some bigass 360hz boi incase of 1000hz update or 100fps cap will be still kicking?

Hey! Engine is gen2 right now, but may change in future. In this particular case, i think swap to gen1 would be necessary, as soon as i had pretty hard time trying to recreate gen2 graphs, but didnt manage to make a precise copy. The whole physics related part of this mod is ready now, except the engine, which just have a bhp/rpm curve messed up.

As a person being admitted to all physics works of this project, i hope u may paste few words here about the handling, if it seems legit for u or not(even with WIP engine).

This project is not dead, but still a lot of things to do especially with 3d model. Luckily, i have more spare time now.
Some suspension aspects were completely reworked this month, and, well, that was some interesting engineering experience, and i can say now its 99% right on spot.
