anyone manage to try out sebring at night?

i had a quick couple laps but i didnt think it was really dark enough.. im sure if i altered my gamma then yea it would look better but im handicapping myself.

i was practising at sebring with the corvette and the fastest i could get was 1'58.5 dont know how they get 1'55's

track is VERY bumpy tho, i had to soften the car right up.

i joined up at the beginning of feb, its been perfectly smooth for me all the time, it looks like its just this event which has caused issues.

I've played LFS for years.. and done 1000's of laps hotlapping over the years but something in GT5 just doesnt add up..

even tho my laps feel very consistant with each other the splits are all over the place, one min in 0.5 up next time i know ive done the corner quicker im 0.3 down.

I was lapping Indy Road Course in my tuned mx5 (non turbo) and was getting 1'49.5's consistantly but couldnt quite get in the 1'48's.. I came away for an hour or two and then tried again, same thing i managed to improve to 1'49.2's but not very consistantly..

i started a race (online) and immediatly with the lap feeling sloppy and not really noticable smooth i got a 1'48.8 then another then another..

it feels like there is some sort of boost when racing with others.

Anyone else felt this?

i managed to do the focus st event without using skid recovery, but it took me 40 attempts.

at first i was just litterally flying into the corners, not concentrating on my speeds, my lines, my brakes..

after a couple of attempts i started consiously learning the track and watching for braking points and the times started to drop.

i did mine by hitting the RS on that last chicane and sent him crashing into a wall, so i stole 1st place and won by about 3 seconds.

makes it easier (on a g25/27) to keep the brakes from locking without the ABS being on 1

try turning ABS off and lowering the brake bias to 2F/2R

boris, i have seen some setups for the enzo which apparently greatly improve the handling of the car 10 fold.

ill add you when i get back on the PS3, im just playing with minecraft atm
