It ended as a high-energy video... lots of camera changes... and a quite phrenetic music... Some of you are going to get a nice surprise with the intro xDDDD

This video is esentially about presenting Officials Teams from the Official Spanish League LFS-Spain (www.liveforspeed.es)... and a few other things...

One thing I have realized about.... don't know if it's my computer or audio/video codec I'm using... but sometimes when I play the video I lost sinc between audio and video. Don't have any idea because this is happening to me. If you experience the same problem you can press play, wait for 2 seconds, press stop and press play again.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Full screen and high volume... use headphones if you prefer to... (and i wish none bother you hihihii)

Problem is that Patch X + bouncing fences make a really explosive combination:

32 cars race + No reset option + XFR/UFR + FE/SO track = Bumping Party!!

Just giving feedback to the devs to keep all of the combinations funny and fully raceable!

Also I just post yesterday the AndroidXP explanation at our league forum at LFS-Spain but I think many people didn't fully understand it cause it's quite technical (although it's very well explained). Thanks to you too dude!

I've read some stuff those days (while I was searching this forum to avoid posting repeated stuff on this community-level-thread) about the collision system working with some type of ray implementation.

So it's just a problem about increasing the rate the collision system works at (with the decreasing of performance associated ) or maybe it could be fixed in some way (or at least minimize the flying2theMoon effect) without changing the system entirely neither increasing the 200Hz rate? (just a minor patch, don't know if I'm making you understand what I want to say :schwitz

Hi!

I'm having a feel of two bands arguing on a thing that everyone of us want to be solved.

I know car2airplane is a well-known bug for everyone of us and we know how to avoid it. Also I know that RTractor has a lack on physics and I know how to avoid it.... not playing that game . Let's be serious and honest. I absolutely support devs in their way of development (I think it's fantastic), but we all are here because LFS give us one thing that NONE of the racing sims offers: Realism and fun.
And all of we are excited about a new and highly expected realism feature as the No-reset option is.

But now you can see that this option has introduced a lack of fun or "raceability" in some combinations such as, previously mentioned, UFR+XFR at FernBay or SO...

Ok... we are able to control ourselves and not take any chicane as if you're challenging for the WR, but we may not doing that if the car behaviour were correct

In an easy way: I think we'll obtain much more fun if in the next update we have a medium improve in the collision system than if we have the brand-new interiors for the GTR's

Dont' actually know how heavy is this problem to fix at programming side, only trying to give Scawen some feedback about our racing experience

Sorry if you feel a bit invaded about spanish crew, but you know we are a big and well-organized community. And, yup... we are racers and not crashers and you are invited to race in our servers if you want to see it by yourselves

I suppose it will . The point is: It will be possible to do NOT update and play multiplayer with old version?
We have our monday race at LFS-Spain and we don't know if we'll have all servers updated to patch X on Monday evening, so maybe we need to not update in order to be able to play

Sorry if this is already commented but didn't find anything about it

Having expended so many hours at BlackWood or Fern Bay I can say that for me LFS's circuits and cars are even more "real" than Spa (where I've never been to) or an Enzo Ferrari (that I believe it actually exists because I see it on the Internet :shrug

Personally I don't mind if there are real cars or circuits, I will race them anyways

We hold the replays only for a week at this moment in a private ftp for use of the league members.
So that replays you want are no longer stored at any host. If you are very interested in having a particular replay I think I keep all of my races, but I used to compete in third division and those ones are from the first division of the league.
Anyways, I could find them for you if you are so interested

Just read first 4 pages of the thread (yep... kinda bored today at office :nod and damn... it worth the time spent. I didn't laugh this way for a long time... Ian's posts are just hilarious :talktohan :uglyhamme

I can't understand all of this battle "grippers vs doriftos". I used to race at LFS-Spain league and, trust me, that's serious racing and it's damn fun. But sometimes I also like going to an STCC server and do a couple of short races and i get fun from there too. Not serious racing at all, sometimes too many crashers, but... so what? it's fun for me.

Same with drift then. I don't drift at all, but I think it could be nice to slide with a couple of friends.... JUST FOR FUN!!!

Damn... sometimes I think people forget this is just a game :something

It's nice all of that diesel vs petrol stuff, and I'm on the petrolhead crow I'm afraid

But now I think of LFS and fun and I must say that a diesel would be actually nice, cause it would bring new challenges in long races and competition against equal-level petrol cars.

League: LFS-Spain. Yes, I know, it's only available in spanish because it's a spanish community, but i must say that I've never seen another league with that organization, with automatic time detection to create dynamic divisions, with one race per week, and a record of all the statistics of all races you've competed in. If I were you I start learning spanish right now

App: LFSspotter. It's really useful for me, and it makes me forget the loneliness of the racing driver :rally_dri

It seems that it's a track limit. Last night we had a race for the LFS-Spain league as every monday. We always do 20 people races, so the servers might be correctly configured.
But yesterday we find out that although we can qualify all of us without problem (I mean the 20 racers), when starting the race some people got a "server full" message and they cannot get in, and only 16 racers were allowed to start.
We are not sure if that's suposed to be correct. If only 16 drivers are allowed to race in that circuit, then why are more people allowed to race the qualify round?
