I would like prewarming of tyres and start from last split. I really dont see why the hell we should drive this whole lap for the sakes of trying a hotlap. If You know how some people hotlap, it will be omg how frustrating. Sometimes I dont complete a lap for a whole hour, sometimes I dont complete the 1st sector for 15 mins, it would be silly to drive a whole lap before that lol. I dont really see the reason for chasing this reality when there are lot of other things to be made real. I'm also quite sure in real life we dont heat the tyres so bad that we can only do 1 fast lap or even half only. The way hotlapping was in S1 , was the best way, all even, no tyre temps, no stuff. Hotlapping is about the competition, we have real physics, it's as real as it gets, no need to make features that waste time. As I've picked up a sentence from Your post before Scawen, we need to draw a line between the fun of the sim and reality. Only the real hotlappers, who've spent millions of hours hotlapping will know what this would mean to hotlapping , so I back up biggie on this.
It used to happen when a server crashed and ppl got stuck, but Scawen has fixed that by now. Just wait a bit, it should go ok.

I drive with autoclutch, but I still find that clutch is an important thing to have on the wheel so I just rev in 1st gear and release clutch button when lights go green.

Why are You guys saying Massa was slow, the fact that his laptime was 2 secs slower than Kimis, doesnt mean he was slow. He had differenent tactics, he drove with 1 stop, so all the time he had a geavy car or worn tyres, no chance to do a lap as fast as Kimi.

Worn tyres are slower , so you cant really go as fast over a long stint as You can in LFS.

I will have 4 years of LFS coming up this july.

I'm a bit of a experimentor kinda guy and risky I'd say, I usually dont have same lines troughout the whole race or brake points, they change all the time 
I use to be a crazy trailbraker, I remember looking at the mpr of some ESCC race with XFR on AS Cadet or somethin, in T1 I was going past apexes with brakes lights still on , while others had stopped braking A LONG TIME ago, I was also really fast on the entrys and not really loosing on exits.
But with the latest physics I've kinda lost the trailbraking thing, the locked diff in GTR's feels to me like, if I dont release the brakes my car wont turn at all, so I have started to drive, brake, throttle on and steer.
I so loved to drive with blipping all the way trough the braking, then finally giving it some throttle and balancing it troughout the entrance and finally releasing the brakes and go for it, damm the good old times

I would reccommend driving the same car for a while, but change combos, just get used to one car so deep, that You feel it's like Your own body when sitting in the car If You can handle the car, then You can drive whatever lines with it eventually.
After You've mastered the car, pick another car, drive for a while, for months maybe, then after You have mastered the cars on a very long period You can adopt to them quicker laters, cause You have them somewhere deep in Your brains from that long period of how the cars drive and the speed comes back quick. So finally You are fast in all cars and need just a few laps to adopt
I use to drive only FXO at S1 beginning times, lately I'm a bit inactive, today when driving the gti I was going the WR pace , but I dunno, it felt like I could get them so barely, then after I had done more combos on Fe Later , I was driving Black rev then in the end, I started to feel the car so great in the end, at Gold rev chicane it felt so natural to go trough, the car had become so familiar again to me after all those laps, I went back to Gold rev and it felt easyer to improve that WR too , than the lap I had before
It's all about the feeling , You have to try and go over the edge etc, You have to find out how the car drives in all kinds of different situations
