Sorry to Milcky for first blue flag problem, and no sorry for the second as trying to overtake on the hill is always a bad idea, I would've easily let you past after the hill, bit too impatient.

I noted one person cheating, cutting a big corner most laps, I will report this to Solar Hydro.

Regarding pool 3 I co hosted with a big server crash, hopefully we will sort that issue out soon, but I believe taking the results before the mass laggout would be best, but we'll see.

Yes that is true, it's something like 1.5 to 3 % depending on how much is donated!

As far as a best system goes, there could well be places with smaller fees, or even some with none, but ease of use, security and other featues make PayPal the best choice for us.

For example, we pay our server rental via paypal direct payment and if we need computer parts for the OLFSLtv PC, we can buy them direct on ebay with the PayPal funds. If you do wish to donate, but don't want to use PayPal, please message me and we can sort something out for you, we will never turn down a generous donation, unless it's from the devil or something, then he'll want the OLFSL staff souls in return....gulp:evil:

It was brilliant for me!

We've had highs.....like the beta of OLFSLtv....and we've had lows....the FienDi's splitting up mid season.

Anyway, I think it's been a great season and there are plans for next season to be even greater.

I agree with Julppu. I think some of you guys and gals are driving too fast, there really is no need.

Glad to hear FienDi you're driving this event, and thanks for the great RAC setup, can't drive the other two no matter what setup I have, but I am a mouse driver so I blame it on that :-)

There was some awful lag from Sir D and Fireball on the server which kept chucking me out, I had to jump to another pc quickly with one minute to go, so was totally unprepared, the pc was not setup, I did not have my car setup or my controls. Total nightmare. So with badly controling car I endup going onto the roof.

Sir D ended up lagging out and taking a the leader and host with him, I could tell there was going to be a problem with his lag, but did anyone listen to me, nope.

Oh well the next event soon, Westhill rev (like the track), with FZ5,RAC,LX6..... (dont like the cars for it at all though)

Yup my comment about lots of WR's was just an example really, but was just refering to the top lfs drivers.

Although I like the idea of as many people joining as possible, even the slow ones (like me) - we would need many divisions in this league, I was thinking one top class league like in Formula One for example.

The only other way I can think of that could incorporate everyone would be a tournament knockout style, like the football world cup (that could be quite fun actually) progressing to quater finals, semi finals and the final itself.

Been windering for a few months if any of you top racers out there would be interested in a new league. With REAL money as a prize for the top 3 finishers.

It would only be open to the very best LFS drivers (so you'll need lots of World Records) and be willing to pay an entry fee.

With real prize money, I'm sure there will be publicity etc.

Your thoughts on the idea please.

I've got a 19" widescreen and use 1440 x 900 on LFS. It's groovy!

I think there was a box to press somewhere that said 'show widescreen modes'
