Quote from BlakjeKaas :Only for Americans.

...whose country has the most of nuclear power and already has the habit of attacking different countries around the world in order to "install peace and democracy"? I wouldn't say so.

Quote from peterules :We already have names for these configs IE A12/KY32 etc, so why can't we maximise the potential of these new layouts and cut out the bits we don't use? Not only would it help people understand the layout but would help us people with "mid-range" pc's cope with it

Pete, that's a good idea, requires some more work though.

But... I must also say... there's something wrong in your settings that forces such a FPS drop. I have a PC with parts that were made when dinosaurs walked the Earth, but still get much more out of it than you do, with NONE of the settings set to lowest. In fact... most are set to high. Win XP

Your Highness. An adventure, fantasy with parody a bit reminding of Monty Python. Not a masterpiece, but worth watching.

It's the same scenario we've had in Serbia on couple of occasions, a few years a go. Started as a political protest, soon ended with looting... teenagers.

Seams that '90s weren't the happiest years to get born... and these aren't the happiest times to live, no matter where we are?

Quote from Silverracer :It was the reply to the post above (pretty much my reaction too) when I had to manually control my jaw, blink, breath, trying to scratch an itch whilst final countdown was playing in the background...

Ohh... didn't work on me, so that's why I didn't understand. In that case, sorry for asking stupid questions.

Quote from RiseAgainstMe! :No, no, no and no. You're doing it wrong. Tesla was from Europe and he had white skin, so he's a good guy, see how it works?

Yes, but we too are terrorists, don't you watch the movies

Quote from BlueFlame :...
But I won't let a potentially dangerous person into MY house and I treat my country like I treat my house (all the toilet seats get pissed on).

By generalizing things you won't solve the problem. You'll still have your TS pissed on by your own people, at least.

Generalizing things won't even help you prevent "bad guys" from risky countries coming to yours (which ever it is, don't even know). The proof for that is the group which assassinated our Prime Minister 8 years a go. They traveled freely throughout the EU and the rest of the world with their forged passports, while I was required to obtain Visa, which in some cases wasn't easy at all. So there you go.... the same goes for the group which did 9/11 attack in USA.

Generalizing things is actually the worst possible starting point in which ever way you want to go.

EDIT:
Quote from DeadWolfBones :Generally speaking, people are led around by the nose.

Very nicely put, Sir!

Quote from flymike91 :...and none of which benefited from the age of Enlightenment that created the most technically advanced...

...but some of them helped you build "the most technically advanced" society, such as Nikola Tesla, a Serb from Croatia who worked for Edison and very much enabled us to have such a chat today, half a world away , so don't rush in labeling "the enemies" of your society.

The real enemies are not certain nations, but individuals in each one of them, including your own, the lesson that can be learned from what just happened in Norway.

Quote from wien :I think it's important not to run the "christian fundamentalist" angle too hard...

That phrase was more like a sarcastic view on things... I'm not sure if there was "christian fundamentalist" phrase at all...
I went for that because he proclaimed himself as some kind of a crusader, that he does that in the name of the Christ and Norwegian culture, opposed to Muslims and "non-believing" Marxists. It is a kind of extremism, based on his religion.

I don't see it as "us v.s. them", but I see them more like both groups joining forces in bringing more devastation to just simple, ordinary civilians, first of all... that's why I asked "why everybody has to take a piss on civilians". I can understand Muslim extremists targeting Pentagon, I can understand him targeting that government building, but I can't understand targeting places crowded with only civilians. Why were they to blame?

I just can't say enough how much I feel for you Norwegian people.

Just shocked to hear the news, truly shocked! My first thought was "why Norway?". If I'm not mistaking, Norway was proclaimed as the best country to live in, in 2010... that means a lot of effort and care in all aspects of ordinary people's lives....

So... our crusader decides to start his "war to defend" his nation by killing 90 of his own youngsters and destroying parts of his own city? What a brilliant thought! :doh:Wonder why he didn't decide to take the rocket launcher and just shoot at the Parliament when in session, as they are the "real enemy", rather then go fully armed against defenseless kids?

And now, after Islamic fundamentalists, we've got ourselves Christian ones too, capable of leading brave battles against fearsome enemies such as fully armed civilians... fully armed with pencils perhaps and "sinful" thoughts of how to provide for their families, where to go tonight to have a good fun...:irked:

Why is everybody taking a piss on civilians?

Quote from terahh :well i think i was driving the LX6(i think its called) and whenever i went round a corner to quick it flung me off the track.

But the thing is i was racing this one guy,we were going around the same speed in the same car ,i went round the corner first and flew off, then he when round asif he's tires were glued to the floor going the same speed i was, isit something to do with FFB? isit my Car setup(its default but whatever)

First of all, don't start your LFS experience with LX6, because it's one of the most difficult to drive, along with FO8 (RAC too, perhaps).

LFS has one of the best (if not THE best) physics of all current racing simulations, which means it simulates the loss of grip as close to RL. Better start with FWD like XFG or 4WD like RB4 and learn how LFS feels to play. If you are interested in single sitters, you could try FBM first... then gradually work your way through the stronger cars, more difficult to drive.

And do use the link to setupgrid that azasmith14 gave you... also, ask other racers to give you their sets when you are online, as most of them would share.

Good luck!

Well to be honest, I don't understand you, Kerguelen. In just 16 minutes you went from asking people their opinion and advice, to "please, close this thread" and not even bothered to check what other people, other than "theirishnoob", have to say on that matter.

Way to go! :thumbsdow

Quote from Dandy Dust :But how about RAIN? - or lets but it this way: changing WEATHER...

That's easy, according to this idea:
Quote from Bose321 :Just turn down the brightness of your monitor for night racing, simple.

just put a sprinkler and point it at your monitor. You could even control the amount of rain by turning it on or off at your will.
