i been just curious to know what LFS cars are inspired from ?

what i can say is : the 3 demo cars (GTi, XR, XRT) are definatly from the 80's..( i know it's easy ) but i cant figure out what car the XRT is inspired from...maybe a mitsu ? bout the GTi it kinda reminds me of that italian car " the UNO" hehe.

i think the FXO is clearly a BMW inspired and for the S2 cars u have what i call the porrari for the FZ5 (u got it )

so any ideas ? i'd really like to have some real pics showing the closest look..

it's a pity we cant mod that cos i really need a 45° view to look when passing and keep the car straight if u know what i mean...otherwise with a 90° u just cant see anythin in front of you, especially if u hold it there for 2 or 3 sec lookin at a car passin ya for example... i hope u get what im tryin to point out..

by the wayn, are you sure there's no tweak that can be done in file or somethin ? like changing a value somewhere...

well the real question is (for me) : is it that hard to get them implemented ? i mean programing those datas u know...i'd really like to have an opinion from a dev about this...

that's right... fast compression and fast rebound....why arent they included in LFS ? especially for GTR cars... i mean i was living with that during S1 days and even before , but now with the new GTR cars ..hum .. i just thought it was gonna be abvious to add such a setting for the suspension... im was kinda surprised to not find them to be honest.. is it that hard to implemt them ? i aint a programer but im just wondering u know...

Hi evryone ,

well , i dont know if it's been discussed before, i was just wondering if we can look at the sides (from a cockpit view) with a 45° angle view only, instead of a 90°.. like in those F1 series or GTR for instence..

any advice or ideas of how to tweak this in some files are appriciated !

LFS graphic settings are maxed out @ a 1280X1024 , the graphic card settings are : AAx8s & AFx16 plus High Quality.. online frame rates are 60 fps on Full grid (starting from the back) and over 100 fps while racing...just to say that LFS looks dam beautiful and amazingly realistic when maxed out ! the best graphics i ever seen ! keep up the good work devs !
