I liked this one Tilt
"- fixed start time of training lessons which were always at midnight on 1 January 1601"

It's always nice when developers are sharing funny "bloopers" instead of going "fixed an incorrect date"

I am not fully sure if I fully understood the issue but it seems that you are not giving it enough throttle when the clutch starts to bite? I agree that in real life at least the cars I have driven most of the time have a more forgiving clutch. It feels as if LFS engines have very low inertia when it comes to starting to drive.

When I want to start driving in LFS with reasonable real life revs (at or below 2kRPM), at first I give very little throttle to raise the revs and when the clutch starts to bite, I give it quite a bit more throttle, like 40% while at the same time releasing the clutch more aggresively.

You can try simulating the issue in single player and saving a replay for us. To save a replay, simply press "2".

As far as I know there are no external places to buy the license. Only in lfs.net

Either the track map or the server layout has 1st split in the wrong place. On the server it is around S/F line of SO3 (before turn 4).

Quote from mrwallace888 :Also, there's a strange bug with modded vehicles. The tachometer's visual redline typically starts at where the actual engine redline is. But with most modded vehicles (but not all of them), the redline is earlier than the actual engine redline? For example, Rubie's Civic EK9 mod (VKI-6) has an engine redline of 9500 RPM. But the visual redline on the gauge actually starts at 9000. It's a minor thing, but what causes it? Or if I come across it on my own mod, how to fix it? For example, a car I'm working on has a redline of 8750 RPM, but the visual redline shows it going up to only like 8200 RPM for some reason, so the needle goes past the redline, or rather, a redline that is higher than it portrays.

FIY, I'm not sure if this can be called a bug. Rev limiter does not have to stick to tachometer's red line? Check FBM, it revs a little over the red line.

Quote from Scawen :Thanks, wonder if that's related to "You can roll during pitstop with electric car (e-challenger)"
I think here is a suitable place for that bug, added to my notes along with the others. Smile

I was wondering did this appear to be too big of a bug? It is a rather strange bug to have in the public version.

Quote from MandulAA :Speaking of, vehicle mods feature has to be added for the S3 license level on this page: https://www.lfs.net/shop Smile

In this comparison page "Mods" feature is missing. Furthermore, when you expand S3 tracks, Layout Square leads to RO Smile

A tiny detail but maybe there's no need to have the red battery icon on EVs when RPMs are at 0? Maybe when the battery is dead, then it makes sense.

Also, is there a reason to switch off ignition on EVs after standing stationary for a while?

Quote from PeterN :Thanks this is much improved. I don't know if this is particular to the Mosquito model or something in the game, but at around 10 km/h, with no brake input, the front tyre scrubs a lot leaving a black trail... Seem more noticeable with the clutch in.

I believe it has something to do with physics switching from "low speed" mode (not an official name) that works when the car/bike is below a certain speed to "normal" mode. See in F view how the force from the tyre at low speed is always either blue or red but when it switches to normal mode, you get the usual transition from blue to green.

This is the force that a driver is experiencing. If you are stanstill on a downhill, he will experience forward force due to gravity. Try making a steep ramp and be stationary on it - the force will be quite great.

Quote from Gutholz :
There is still the "Mods" button on the car-selection screen, which is imo the place where it belongs.

On one hand that is true, but on the other hand this just places an unnecessary click. For a new player, one button opens one list of random cars which are official LFS cars, the other button opens a different list of random cars but as the button suggests, those are mods. That's just my opinion.

Not sure if it fits here, but would it be possible to have a version history available on the "vehicle mods" page? Not saying that it should be required for mod devs to write something there but it would be interesting to see what has changes throughout versions, if the mod dev wants to share that.
