Another way of checking for how long you had your LFS installed is by checking the setups folder and filtering by date created or modified? Mine is 2008-10
Yeah this was reported some time earlier as well but it's still unclear whether it was intentional or not. I personally liked it more the old way where both start from the bottom.
I'm also getting the same error with G29 after reinstalling Windows 10. Never had this error before. Everything works except for FFB. Tried both G HUB and LGS, a different port, nothing helped...
Edit: following this video solved the issue. I used his old installer and once everything was back in working order I updated GHUB https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4rsyzqnXAc
No lift upshifting is an easy way to gain a bit of time (in an H pattern) and probably most if not all WRs do that. Hurts the clutch so not widely used in racing (at least not in all upshifts) but considering anyone can use it, I wouldn't call it cheating. Especially that you can do it in real life as well, though that's a bit more expensive there
As a side note - if the car in question has "engine brake reduction" option and it is set to a high number, it will act as a throttle blip for you on downshifts
Would it be possible to have a small counter of how many boosters were used during the race up above near the track status? Would help keeping track how many were used. Similar style to qualification counter available to us.
Really sad that you flipped, I even warned admins about the "curbs" and it was noted... I hope you get to use the powerup again because this was really the layout's fault.
Just to clarify the boost rule - I must use the boost exactly 3 times during the race, no more, no less. If the race is declared WET, the min 3 requirement is no longer in place (can be used 0, 1, 2 times) but max 3 is still there, right?
Whenever you encounter something strange, you can save a replay by pressing "2". Then you will be able to check the incident again and share here in the forum if needed
