A few questions -while waiting for an invitation-

(would be welcomed if anyone send to me one)

When using cockpit view, are there any adjustments that could be altered? From the screenshots i noticed that i might need to push the screen a bit forward.

And for G25 users how do you have your wheel in the profiler and in game setuped?

About extra cars and tracks:could i buy Skippy even though im rookie and practise with it?

Quote from tiltman :Good attitude.

I set up my car to cope with 60 laps even in 3 lap races. I try to drive like a 200 km/h hit-the-wall actually could kill me. To many people treat this this as a game, I like to drive as it was the real thing.

my approach also!

As said before i tend to be gentle and caring with the tyres and the engine (no over revving)

I try to be consistent and not ultra fast, having a cool head in most cases -which is many times hard!-

I like to steer with my feet mostly although i can see what mrodgers is saying and i think he is right.

A bit easier to drift for me too and just like Tazka said easier spins on hot-worn tyres.(G25 720)

still fun though!

I am just a newcomer in the magic world of setups, but i feel right to say a big thanks for this great tool. Helped me alot. As i changed a value in LFS and i instantly loaded again the setup in VHPA i saw the impact that change had,so i could make a setup that suited me! The really odd is that i first found a nice and compromised setup without any test driving and then i went on track to see that this was what i wanted! I was amazed of how those graphs and a bit of trial and error in the garage led me to a set that i was confident to drive even though i hadnt done any prior driving. so no more endless driving, guessing setup changes. Thanks again! sorry but mozilla problem caused this awfully unreadable text!Problem with spacing!

Quote from rainspecialist :thanks im kinda gonna miss the nose tail racing with the xfg online taht was real fun but the reason i pulled away from lfs well the reason i think is because i experienced real cars. when i sit in my chair on my desktop and pull my wheel out i fell like racing online, but when i sit in the z i feel the excitment just to hear it roar... What im trying to say is that lfs may be a simulator but it will NEVER be the same as real life lfs feels good but wont ever feel like a real car. its just that this computer generated program dosent fire me up anymore. i want the real deal. i feel excitment when im driving for real not in my computer sitting with a toy plastic wheel connected to my computer it just feels..... lame

for instance when your going 100 mph in lfs its kinda (wow 100mph is nothing.) but in real life its just so WOW its hard to handle its much diffrent from the game real driving is so much diffrent and the excitment is there thats my veiw of it anyways

i turned to LFS cause i couldnt do the real thing!

mayde next year i could be able to buy an Easykart 125 so i could feel the g's!

there are times when i really got bored but after the break time i am all eager again to LFSing!

For me all depends of the time i spent before i reach the bored point. If i play day by day around an hour or two then in 2 weeks time i cant take it anymore and have to let it be for a couple of days. But after these 2 or maybe more days without G25 and LFS my system needs a ''LFS dose'' again!

Quote from Cash_FLow :I've made a video to explain how to change the lock!
** the quality is a lil bit bad because i have used a free screen recorder!**

Lock Video: http://www.mediafire.com/?0gsf0diby2n

You can also do that for the brake force if you put it to the negative it'll act like a nos mod... its very funny when F*cking around in Single Player!

Nos Mod Video: http://www.mediafire.com/?nxe3jgizud4

**To active it you got to use the handbrake**

many thanks!Tried them and it was awesome!

Quote from March Hare :I'd say it depends on the team.

The right team can help you to evolve into a better racer.
The wrong one can be like a millstone around your neck and slow your progress.

thats what i gained joining Greek Virtual Racing team-->GVRt.

Tons of advices and help(setups strategies racing lines racing behaviour and everything about sim racing in general) everytime i screwed.

Not to mention the friends i met!(with some of them met-will meet- in real life too!)

Quote from Jakg :It is hard if you don't know anything about PC's or you've got an nVidia graphics card running 169.xx drivers - the latter bug had me totally confused and made me even try re-installing my OS (the copy had only been on my PC a few hours though) before I hit Google and found out that actually a feature was totally broken.

took me around 6 hours of trial and error so i could bring my screen to the quality i had before.I had troubles with AA.

I am in too.

Former chase view user but now cant do without the in-car view almost without any adjustments.I thought it would be impossible to achieve my personal bests but i ve beaten them supprisingly even to a 1 second in some cases. Also as the clutch thing is concerned i didnt had any problems at all even use now three pedals and shifter and of course heel and toe-never used them before at least not all together-.

The changes took me a month to be used to and after that havent even consider to go back.

Quote from Gnomie :

Sorry...

Anyway.. I hope I'll have a chance to race a real car someday. I'm interested in finding out whether feeling the forces on your body simply provides more input or if it's a determining factor that changes the whole experience of driving, so to speak.. I think this is something you can only answer once you've tried.

only karting have done i think that the forces could be considered foundamental.
