You're complaining about technology that's 200 years away, mate... so I think you should let it slide...
Anyway, anybody figured out why the akhem... trying not to spoil here...so
Why the final boss looked the way he did? PM me please, cause I don't get it... all the other beings of his species look differently....
I tend to do exercise videos myself from time to time. Helps learning new stuff or polishing the gained skills without looking back at stuff like originality or anything like that. It's a good practice that. Keep it up
On the side note. I'd recommend using custom view to fix your camera to one of the cars in some shots so your mask would be perfectly alligned with the car shape at all times...
I've noticed that this is only present in dialogue while on the shuttle on the way to the Illusive man for the first time. After that it all works fine. So, false alarm
Tell your friend to actually play ME2 then, cause obviously he hasn't played it
On topic - ME2 : same but better. Every bad aspect was fixed, every good aspect has been polished, talking / fighting balance was reset for more shooting, and the shooting itself got a lot better. Less of an RPG, more of a Shooter, but still good. (Better sequel to ME1 than Kotor 2 was to Kotor that's for sure)...
P.S: Only problem for me was - I imported the saves from ME1, it confirmed all my choices in ME1 (council saved, Alenko died), and then in the game I was told opposite things (Ashley died, Council died)... That's just weird :\
You've combined a slow music with non slo-mo video... Classy, no idea how you pulled it off though, maybe it's the saturation of the picture...Also feels a bit unprofessional due to some minor glitches and twitches in camerawork and editing, but with a bit of practice you'll be doing awesome videos...
Still - no idea why, but that video is like a breath of fresh air. I enjoyed it
Here are the things movies are made of and how I'd rate yours
Content : average
Camerawork : average
Editing : average
Effects : average
or in short, this video doesn't stand out on any point. It blends in with a ton of other videos that have been posted and probably will not be remembered in a month or so. Think about it, every video that has it's impact on the LFS movie making / watching society had to give something very special at least in one of those points.
BTW : your way of using effects can be branded as "look look, im using effects".... when you'll be able to use effects to create necessary stuff (like sparks, smoke, exhaust flames, dirt kicking from under the wheels, colour correction to portray different times of day)- they'll be worth a flying ****. For now , at no point did your movie's atmosphere (which I didn't feel actually) depended on them...
the difference in footage FPS and video rendering FPS created trails that are quite annoying when trying to see the skin, since they're blurring the picture, also I think you should have concentrated more on it, since it's a skin presentation, not a team promo.
OMFGWTFBBQLOLROFLMAO ... You're not the only one who can type random letters here
On topic :
Oh my god, this is so laughably bad driving and movie making wise that I don't even know where to start, so I'll probably won't...
The "PRO" comment suits you well though, as well as other Arab drifters proclaiming themselves "gods" and "kings"
Anyway : well, it finally happened. It really did, the Traction Zero drift video that I've been considering the best drift video ever (despite the tons of its flaws) has been removed from the top of my list. This movie is just perfect, it would benefit from having more syncronisation with the music, but that's not necessary. The mods are actually adding to the video, keeping you watching.
About those actually, well sorry, I was thinking they're not needed at first, but now that I think of it, at least they're bringing some fresh look to LFS, something the Scirocco (that I don't give a **** about TBH) promissed to do 1.5 years ago.
Good movie, good use of effects, nice stunts, great driving... I'll give it a "must watch" recommendation
Im going to be harsh, but that did not impress me as a movie
It was unnecessarily long, had some "meh" camerawork, had rearview mirrors left in, modded content, and had no syncronisation to the music, had overdone visual special effects that were repeating since the beginning of the video and got old by the first minute mark and served no purpose what so ever, and naturally some of the blatant copying of other people's creative ideas (not going to point into Lynce's drift video direction for the big monitor, you've definetly seen it).
In short - this movie fails to do some of the essential stuff properly while copying much better movie's ideas, and doesn't bring anything fresh to the table.
No need to make it longer, it's short, straight to the point, nice camerawork, and surprisingly rap music that does not want me to throw my PC out of the window. The movie doesn't outstay it's welcome with the >9000 entries, and is close to being "just right" In my opinion.
Are you trying to imply something like "look look squid is jealous" here?
If that's the point then - I'm not sure what kind of a creature you got imagined in that noggin of yours branded "Squidhead", but you're heavily delusional. I'm not only able to bash on crap, I also know when I'm producing one, thus eliminating all false hope to see my video in this poll.
Point you failed to see while reading my post though (as well as a lot of people that didn't), is that the trully "meh" GTAL videos in this poll are for some reason on top, while some creative videos are way down (And some of the good ones like the FZR doing a wheelie (great camera positioning) are not even in the top poll)
Really surprised about the GTAL finish results. Sorry, but the last second of 5 is just a picture in both of them. Slow motion would be good, something like watching a JPG - no, sorry.
Voted for Niko. Memes rule
I think Ndrew and Tarc's entries deserve a mention too, very nice.
music doesn't cut it used like this, it's just... well "MEH" when bluntly applied. Originally if you'd notice, in HL2 EP2, it starts out loud, but then fades a bit to let the gunfire take the main sound theme, while being kind of an ambient. By analogy here it would be nice if you'd overlay some engine sounds etc, while keeping the music a bit to the secondary level of sounds
