Here you can download a 1 month trial version of Sony Vegas, the best video editing software for beginners for free. Not only it rarely has problems, it's also better in terms of quality and possibilities.
Have fun
Id say it wouldn't make it worse, because both words mean exactly the same, thus using both of them is quite offensive. It's kind of like "Have not" and "Haven't" - same meaning, same sounding, different spelling.
I wouldnt even get an idea of trying to drift it... it's pointless... as far as video goes - improve your camerawork and camera positioning. Editing could be better too...
Edit : scratch that, I've just remembered I got a video where Im sideways in a F08
On topic - well at least he did the job of cutting out the non crashy parts of the mpr... As far as "art" is concerned....It doesn't do that very well, or at all... [insert random rant with a link to the making lfs movies HERE]
That was my post in your previous thread. After seeing you never bothered to try and improve even that simple thing, I decided to turn off your video instantly
Well the aspect ratio is quite off,
there is a FPS issue, its noticeable
at some scenes the rear view mirror is present
Technically that's pretty much it for problems, but in reality - the video lacks tension or heavy action, also some more artistic / dramatic camera work would be in order...
Well judging by your YT profile it's your first. And surprisingly, I feel (a disturbance in the force) that you have a knack for making LFS movies, there's some artistic feel to your movie.
I won't lie though, you got quite a lot to learn. Mostly in camerawork and editing. You can find a bunch of tips in "Making LFS movies" thread in this sub-forum.
Creating new topics for new movies, people not posting them all in the tutorial thread.
Anyway - crop the Fraps logo, and use less FOV in shots where the action is happening far away. I personally prefer the car to take up a quarter of the screen as a minimum, gives a good show of what's happening to it and around it...but ofcourse you can't have it like that all the time.
doubling shift+f removes the messages in the top left corner. And yeah, to evaluate drifting skills we'd need to see you follow certain corners everyone else can see, not the ones that are there in your mind...and an SPR would give us a better view of things.
Yo, CMR Dirt2, Imma real happy for you and imma let you finish, but CMR Dirt 1 had the best offroad racing variety of all times!
Yeah, it's all autocross / trucks / point to point, but the game is lacking quite a few good disciplines I remember being good in the first game. I managed to get my hands on a few group B rally cars (RS200 and Metro) and trailblazer events are quite cool, but, it's still no pikes peak.. that course alone made me bear CMR Dirt 1's frustrating physics.
On the plus side though, if you like fast paced messy sideways grudgematch rallycross action - this game is quite a lot of fun
The verdict from me - it will keep you entertained from time to time, that's for sure.
