Ooh, didn't realise I was entered! Crazy week last week so didn't have time for a final version Thanks all that have voted though, hopefully have more time for the next comp!
Yeah thanks, I'm just being lazy really, my old PC is set up all nice with Photoshop etc, trying to force myself to learn Gimp on this one but the temptation is always there
I know it's been said countless times on here but this is a fantastic resource so thank you for giving all your time and knowledge!
Render number 1, I plumped straight for V2, unfortunately I only have 1024 skins on this PC gonna transfer some 2048s tomorow and have some real fun with this!
Note to self: I should probably un-bling the wheels a bit for banger renders!
EDIT 2: Third render, realised once I started it the RB4 skin is an unfinished one, the final has teazR's shadow kit and a fatter stripe on the rear flank, amongst other small tweaks.
I did this ages ago but never finished as I don't have the right font and couldn't be bothered drawing the text instead...I could finish it if you still need one?
Another test similar to the one on previous page.
I must get rid of that dark glass dds! Also, this monitor keeps defaulting to 'washed-out' looking on other PC this is too dark again
Quite often end up completely trashed banger racing (especially as I insist on using UF1 against XFG and XRG) but this was one of the more 'realistic' ones (I won btw )
That's the problem I would much rather race clean but don't trust myself to hold my line (I'm a mouser by the way...) however, racing the AI really helps with choosing lines etc but you do get battered about.
Hey, I'm a total Newb here and so far haven't yet risked racing online (I can just about hold a straight line now!) Question is; are the AI cars any comparison to racing online? as they just plough straight through me if I get anything wrong. I'm guessing from previous posts that 'real' racers aren't like this so would I be better doing most of my learning online as the AI tends to make you agressive?
