Getting more and more suspicious about our router/modem, as Tom Parker wrote about his router also causing him to lag or disconnect. Maybe that Linksys modem we have can't cope with the connection speed and makes and makes an "emergency disconnect"?
Anyone able to see what the problem is and can give me a hint?
Hello, I am currently trying to find out why I am disconnecting from servers when other competitors seem to be fine or doesn't get disconnected while only I do(Doesn't always happen, but it's a pain in the ass if it does!)
I have moved my attention from the servers(They can't be all crap or lagging all the time, can they?) onto my connection, router/modem.
This I posted somewhere else:
Well, basically, I need to find out if our modem/router we got in '07 is a total w*nker of equipment or not. Maybe it can't handle the connection's performance?
Or if it is the connection, but I don't really think it is the problem.
Note that I am a layman, I don't really have a clue, that's why I ask. We also didn't set up the connection and router, it was probably done by network professional, who's retired now from his job.
Yeah, I heard everything was FUBAR, also the switch to the NDR server caused confusion, at least that server was good until I disconnected without warning.
Thanks to the two of you(You and Chrisuu01) for the help, hopefully I'll be able to show more next round
Sprint was absolute fail. Somehow, my G25 messed up and had a higher lock, what meant for me I had to turn the wheel further, so I had to cross my arms, only finished 22nd...
Feature, I was running rather fine, even though I was blocked, and I had a great fight with Drda?(You saw that probably) until I lost connection once more
And then, I hit Simon... Grrr, stupid, shoud I go buy a new modem and a better connection from the provider so it doesn't happen or is it that drunken server??!
Looking forward to more though, in the end, I was only battling for 17th, but it was fun
