19th race of the 2nd season of Formula-series will be held on November 12, 2017!

Details of the race:

Track: Fern Bay Gold Reverse (FE3R)
Cars: Formula V8 (FO8)
Race length: 30 minutes + 1 lap in first race, 60 minutes + 1 lap in second race
Mandatory pit stops: 0 in both races
90% limit: (minimum lap amount to get classified): In both races, it's 90% of the race winner's lap amount.

Race type: Race has special regulations and AI-drivers may participate alongside human drivers.

Because real Formula One-race will be driven at quite same time, when this race would normally be held, we will make this event to happen two hours earlier. This means that qualifying begins at 16:50 (UTC+2) instead of 18:00 (UTC+2) and first/sprint race will be held at 18:00 (UTC+2) instead of 20:00 (UTC+2).

In event, every driver can make a choice between driving him/herself or putting two AI-drivers on track instead. In the first option, driver can't put any AI-drivers while on second option, driver who puts AI-drivers cannot drive itself.

Qualifying lasts one hour. In qualifying, you may drive only 12 laps. You can drive more than 12 laps, but only your first 12 laps will count. That lap which you're driving immediately after leaving pits (= your first lap) does not count towards this lap amount. During Warm-Up/Briefing, I will take a look into qualifying results and look if anyone drove more than 12 laps. In case somebody drove more than 12 laps and his/her best lap during qualifying has been driven after his/her 12th lap, he/she will be moved into corresponding position on starting grid (that position, which he/she would have achieved in his/her best lap by his/her first 12 laps).

Starting order will be determined:
- In first/sprint race: by qualifying results
- In second/main/feature race: by first/sprint race results being reversed. This means that the one who finished last in sprint race will start first in feature race and that driver, who finished first in sprint race will start last.

Points will be scored as following:
In sprint race:
1st place: 15 points
2nd place: 12 points
3rd place: 10 points
4th place: 8 points
5th place: 6 points
6th place: 4 points
7th place: 2 points
8th place: 1 point
9th-> place: 0 points
Pole position: 4 points
Fastest lap: 2 points

In feature race:
1st place: 25 points
2nd place: 18 points
3rd place: 15 points
4th place: 12 points
5th place: 10 points
6th place: 8 points
7th place: 6 points
8th place: 4 points
9th place: 2 points
10th place: 1 point
11th-> place: 0 points
Fastest lap: 2 points

- 18:00: Warm-Up/Briefing ends and Sprint race begins
- After Sprint Race has ended, there will be a 5 minute break
- After that break, Feature race begins
- Event ends after feature race has ended

29th race of the Ultra Comboseries will be held on November 10, 2017!

Details of the race:

Track: Fern Bay Club (FE1)
Cars: UF1000 (UF1)
Race length: 15 minutes + 1 lap in first race, 45 minutes + 1 lap in second race
Mandatory pit stops: 0 in first race, two in second race
80% limit: (minimum lap amount to get classified): There is no limit at all = every driver will be classified

Race is replica from 1st race of the Fern Bay-series which was held on April 9, 2016.

Race type: Race has some special regulations. There are three sessions. First session is qualifying which is normal and lasts 4 hours. Second session is sprint race which lasts 15 minutes + 1 lap and final session is feature race which lasts 45 minutes + 1 lap.

Starting order will be determined:
- In first/sprint race: by qualifying results
- In second/main/feature race: by first/sprint race results being reversed. This means that the one who finished last in sprint race will start first in feature race and that driver, who finished first in sprint race will start last.

Other differences between these two races:
- There are no mandatory pitstops in sprint race, but in feature race, drivers have to do at least two pitstops.
- Pitlane during feature race is open only between 8th and 14th minute and 26th and 37th minute.
- All drivers must refuel at least once during feature race
- During sprint race, car reset is disallowed. During feature race, driver may reset his/her car once, but he/she will get Drive-Through-penalty as result (unless that specific driver happens to reset that car on final lap, in that case, driver gets 45 second time penalty). If driver resets again, he/she will be specated.

Final results of event will be determined with these two races. Driver, who has lowest (or should I say highest?) average position will win. Feature race result will be used as tiebreaker if necessary.

10th and final race of the 3rd season of SRT-Endurance will be held on November 5, 2017!

Details of the race:

Track: Aston Grand Prix (AS5)
Cars: FXO GTR, XR GTR and FZ50 GTR (FXR+XRR+FZR)
Race length: 6 hours
Mandatory pit stops: 0
70% limit: (minimum lap amount to get classified): 70% of the race winner's lap amount

Race type: Race has many special regulations. First of all, only AI-drivers are allowed to participate. Secondly, server will be protected with password for whole event. Also, for all drivers, one AI-driver has to use FXO GTR (FXR), another must use XR GTR (XRR) and third one must use FZ50 GTR (FZR) during event. This is possible because maximum amount of AI-drivers per guest on server is 3.

Wind speed in both qualifying and race is 25-29km/h.

Point system for the event is:
1st place: 75 points
2nd place: 60 points
3rd place: 45 points
4th place: 30 points
5th place: 24 points
6th place: 18 points
7th place: 12 points
8th place: 9 points
9th place: 6 points
10th place: 3 points
Pole position: 6 points
Fastest lap: 6 points
Highest climber: 6 points

Minimum license: S2

Schedule (all times are in UTC+2):

- 11:40: Server will be password protected

- 11:45: Qualifying begins and lasts 3 hours. It is divided into 4 parts which each lasts 45 minutes. For first 45 minutes, only FXO GTR's are allowed to drive, for the next 45 minutes, only XR GTR's are allowed to drive. After that, FZ50 GTR's are allowed to drive for the next 45 minutes and for the final 45 minutes, all three GTR-cars are allowed to drive.

Because AI-drivers extremely likely will return to the pitlane when they're on lap 4 during qualifying, you can return them back on track by two ways:
If you're Admin: Use command /pitlane [AI-driver's name] or

If you're Admin or Guest: Use command /spec [AI-driver's name] and then command /ai [AI-driver's name]. Just make sure, that when you're typing AI-driver's name when typing /ai-command, you have to make sure, that you type it using exact same colors that it has in his/her name.

AI-driver who gets a pole position earns 6 points.

- 14:45: Qualifying ends and Warm-up/Briefing begins. During this session, make sure that you have your AI's on track and they're using right setups.

- 15:00: Warm-Up/Briefing ends and Race begins. Race lasts 6 hours. If you want your AI-driver to make pitstop on certain lap, do this:
- If you're admin: Assign a Stop 'n' Go-penalty for that AI-driver by command /p_sg [AI-driver's name] before it starts it's last sector of the lap. During last sector, before (s)he goes into pitlane, clear that penalty by command /p_clear [AI-driver's name].

- If you're guest: Ask me to give a penalty for your AI-driver as assigning penalties even for own AI-drivers is only possible for admins. Please inform me, that which AI-driver you want to go into pitlane and on which lap.

There is also possibility to give Drive-Through-penalty for your own AI-driver, if you have a faster AI-driver behind him/her. If you want your AI-driver to go into pitlane, but not for pitstop, you need to do pretty much the same thing that you do, when you want your AI-driver to make a pitstop on certain lap via Stop 'n' Go-penalty. There are two differences though:
1) You don't need to remove/clear that penalty on last sector (clearing that penalty - as long as that AI-driver is on it's last sector of the lap - does not make any harm though)
2) If you're admin: you need to type /p_dt [AI-driver's name] to assign Drive-Through-penalty instead of typing /p_sg [AI-driver's name].

- 21:00: Race ends. Driver who gets fastest lap and drives at least 70% of the race winner's lap amount will get six points. Also, that driver who is highest climber also gets six points, provided that driver finishes race.

Race length: approximately 125 laps.

Two more questions and answers:

Question: I got kicked out from server after joining SRT? Why?
Answer: It's because that server's Airio has a system that if someone joins to server and has [SRT]-tag in his/her nickname and that driver is not Limad or Admin at that moment of server, he/she will be immediately kicked. Just wait for a moment and you get promotion in your "career" to Limad.

Question: I can't join even though under 20% of the race distance has been driven! Why?
Answer: Most likely because:
1) You've already rejoined three times (for the first 20%, all drivers may rejoin up to three times and after 20% has been driven, no one (with the exception of Admins and Limads) can rejoin anymore),
2) You don't have enough restrictions (intake restriction and/or added mass) on your setups. Either ask server Admin/Limad about the restrictions or press F11 when viewing another driver to see what restrictions are required or
3) Something is wrong with your setups (most likely wrong tires or you have passengers; only co-driver is allowed).

If you're Admin or Guest: Use command /spec [AI-driver's name] and then command /ai [AI-driver's name]. Just make sure, that when you're typing AI-driver's name when typing /ai-command, you have to make sure, that you type it using exact same colors that it has in his/her name.

AI-driver who gets a pole position earns 2 points.

- 18:45: Qualifying ends and Warm-up/Briefing begins. During this session, make sure that you have your AI's on track and they're using right setups.

- 19:00: Warm-Up/Briefing ends and Race begins. Race lasts 2 hours.

Driver who gets fastest lap and drives at least 80% of the race winner's lap amount will get two points. Also, that driver who is highest climber also gets two points, provided that driver finishes race.

Race length: approximately 70 laps.

25th race of the Ultra Comboseries will be held on October 27, 2017!

Details of the race:

Track: South City Town Course (SO5)
Cars: Formula XR (FOX)
Race length: 15 minutes + 1 lap in first race, 45 minutes + 1 lap in second race
Mandatory pit stops: 0 in first race, two in second race
80% limit: (minimum lap amount to get classified): There is no limit at all = every driver will be classified

Race is replica from 2nd race of the 1000th message-series which was held on January 10, 2016.

Quote from Scawen :
New option "Display LFS logo in game" (not optional in demo mode)

Just one thing about this: if I choose to display that logo in game and choose to display track map on left side instead of right, that track map will go over that logo. It does not go on top of that lfs.net-text however.

Is this on purpose? I mean that sometimes it may be better to display track map on left side instead of right to display qualifying/race results and track map at the same (yes, I know that I can use Ctrl+Tab to alter between those two).

Hi,

I'm having two problems with mpRes:

1) It seems like when I'm using reversed track configuration as track, it name is displayed as [Track name] open instead of [Track name] rev. So for example, for FE6R it should say: RallyX Green Rev (or Reverse) but it says RallyX Green Open.

2) Looks like whenever I'm using Fern Bay RallyCross Green Reverse (FE6R) as a track, it doesn't display any qualifying results. It displays race results without any problems though.

Here's a link to display both problems: http://tulokset.srtfinland.com/league/ULTRA/2017/R23/q/

Another example, this race was driven in 2015. In this case, I don't have that #1 issue though, therefore, my only issue with this is that it doesn't display anything related to qualifying results: http://tulokset.srtfinland.com/league/AKSARJA/2015/R03/q/

17th race of the 2nd season of Formula-series will be held on October 22, 2017!

Details of the race:

Track: Fern Bay Black Reverse (FE4R)
Cars: FJR (FJR)
Race length: 30 minutes + 1 lap in first race, 60 minutes + 1 lap in second race
Mandatory pit stops: 0 in both races
90% limit: (minimum lap amount to get classified): In both races, it's 90% of the race winner's lap amount.

FJR is Formula V8 (FO8) with 20% intake restriction and 70kg added mass.

Race type: Race has special regulations and AI-drivers may participate alongside human drivers.

Because real Formula One-race will be driven at quite same time, when this race would normally be held, we will make this event to happen two hours earlier. This means that qualifying begins at 16:50 (UTC+3) instead of 18:00 (UTC+3) and first/sprint race will be held at 18:00 (UTC+3) instead of 20:00 (UTC+3).

9th-> place: 0 points
Pole position: 4 points
Fastest lap: 2 points

In feature race:
1st place: 25 points
2nd place: 18 points
3rd place: 15 points
4th place: 12 points
5th place: 10 points
6th place: 8 points
7th place: 6 points
8th place: 4 points
9th place: 2 points
10th place: 1 point
11th-> place: 0 points
Fastest lap: 2 points

Schedule (all times are in UTC+3):

- 16:45: if only AI-drivers participate, server will be protected by password
- 16:50: Qualifying begins
- 17:50: Qualifying ends and Warm-up/Briefing begins.
- 18:00: Warm-Up/Briefing ends and Sprint race begins
- After Sprint Race has ended, there will be a 5 minute break
- After that break, Feature race begins
- Event ends after feature race has ended

Race length:
- Sprint race: approximately 14 laps.
- Feature race: approximately 27 laps
