Looks to me you'll need to start spending more time with your skins to really make them stand out.
Masterskinnerz has a good guide on how to compensate for stretching for example:

I've been a bit busy in other projects, but today was a bit quiet so I thought I'd make a FO8 skin.

Quote from Intrepid :
here is an example -

in the first one the driver does not observe someone is attempting an overtake.

And I was expecting to see some noob crashing into you, but all I got was you totally overshooting the braking, entering the corner at a speed and line at which it could not be driven through, practically stopping at the apex and then get turned around by the other car.

You spoke earlier about having overlap on the car ahead..
Sure it's easy to achieve that if you do what you did and just barge in. But please note the fact that you should have the overlap at the turn-in point while still being able to brake and turn in to the corner and leave room for the car on your outside if you were to enter the corner side by side.

It's not the tools you use, it's how you use them.

I like the skin but not the bodykit. The small addon parts like the stuff "holding" the windscreen are nice, but the widebody and fake vents not

background seems to be in wrong angle compared to the car in the foreground. All in all it's too dark as well.

I'm not entirely happy with how the tribals look in game, but if you're using uncompressed textures it should be slightly better.

Those skins you refer to being mine are really modified by someone after I gave them to you. I wouldn't enter a competition with distorted decals or jagged edges on my graphics..

And which part of that makes it look like S3? Certainly it's not the smoke.

No addon vents or such, just a couple of simple shadows at the front and a diffuser at the back.
Set on top of your skin as multiply.

you probably have a good explanation about the track and the use of bespoke while you're on demo?

Another colorscheme. I took a photo of a bush outside my house in it's autumn colours and took the colours straight from that
