Just raced the LX4's with the x31 test patch and I think there is definately something wrong with the clutch in that car. 2 laps around the new SO track and the clutch is already slipping noticeably(sp?). I've got no problems with the TBO's or the FBM even though I'm driving them with the same (or far more) aggressive style I just did with the LX. It just seems that the clutch is too weak to handle the torque.

Yet to test the rest of the field..

Didn't have a single problem with it overheating.
But that might be because I was already used to blipping and lifting the throttle manually.

I've watched quite a few V8 supercar races and those cars can burn the clutch with a single bad start. It'll recover, but will take some time.

Don't know how fast the clutch should cool down, but it seems a bit slow in the patch now. It'll take minutes even if you're sitting still on neutral.

Framerates dropped to about half from what they used to be in SO. Even when I reduced AA and AF + the ingame LOD settings.

Is that your skin or who made it?

Try to focus on the basic things aka braking points, hitting the apex etc one corner at a time. People tend to push their car over the limit under pressure so try to brake on your normal marker instead of trying to push it further. Of course you'll have to be familiar and comfortable with the car and setup so you can concentrate on the more important stuff.
