I'm also stuck on getting the damn ghostcar mod to work too. It has something to do with direct3d I think. I updated to 9.0c and everything seems to work fine, but the game can't start as long as the dll file that came with 1.01 or whatever.

what version of live for speed do you guys have? what version of the ghostcar mod do you have?? I have been trying to get this to work, and it seems so easy, but I still can't get it to even start with that dll file.

Any suggestions? I have been trying to get live for speed to work with the plugin but it will not startup. Only after I take the direct3d dll file out does the game work again, but then I cant get the ghostcar to work.

How do you get it to work? I have S2 licenced and it seems that the dll file you have to copy over makes the game not start. Any suggestions???

if i had more time to read the other posts then I would have seen it, and wouldnt' have taken the time to buy the product thinking this wasn't taken into concideration.

I'm not a professional at settings on the cars. actually I have no idea what im doing at all! So when I have to play the same setup for an oval track, and then the same for a road course it gets kinda annoying trying to find the right edge over the other person. Maybe what it needs is different catorgories. Like fast setup for this track, as well as other setups for that car for different skill levels. I know this maybe allot of work, but I hope I didn't pay for this for nothing. Anyways great game, just needs better settings for the cars before hand, not just default, and race. Different tracks = different setups = for each different car. Hope this can be looked into. I love the game other then that!

The other drivers can't tell if there is anything in front of them, and they dont try and miss you, but just run right into you while trying to hold the racing line. What about you put something where they slow down atleast, or maybe even try driving around. Because when I have to start 10 times just to get a clean start, meaning another computer drivers are not messing every race up.
