I've never been any good @ drifting and was thinking about trying a little more, after watching that video, I think I'll be causing a lot more accidents... I mean drifting a lot more!!!!
Yes it is legal - all mods and textures upgrades on the disc, the respective owners haven given permission for them to be used, and the LiveForSpeed demo is available for download and redistribution, the CD is free to download, and you can only use the demo part of the game unless you pay for it, no-one is making money from this CD....
It's a CD created by the community for the community!
Just wait for the physics updates, hopefully the high nose "bug" will be corrected and most setups will need heavy midification to become competitive again...
This is needed - We only want to see the setups for the tracks, maybe also add a global folder so you can stick the easydrive sets in their....
but something is need, some people (Like myself) have qualifying sets, short race sets, long race sets.... for serveral circuits, means having to scroll through loads of sets to find the right track
I know it's more than excessive to have this amount of setups - but they are all useful!!!!
Took me ages to learn how to race around a track, let alone be competitive!
My brother is now having the problem of forgetting howto drive, and learning howto race!!!
If I grab a setup from the inferno setupfield, I always end chucking extra wing on it to get me around the track, but the more you race, the faster you go
A lot of people on this forum hate anyone with Demo under their usernames, some have a legitimate reason, most don't.......
I would just recommend that you wait the few days until you are lisenced and come back to the forums and repost your questions, more people will be helpful and less people will try to flame you simply asking for help!
Your best best is to join servers and simply watch all drivers...
If you like oval, the the [FM]OvalJunkies server is a good place to watch lots of drivers, lots of over taking...
But if you want track moves, your best bet would be to view a event, ask permission first, but I'm sure no1 will mind a spectator as long as you don't lag out the server!
