Maybe I'm wrong here, but by the looks of the 4th picture you put the new drive as slave with no master present. I'm not sure if that works for all boards as some are a bit iffy.
The master / slave thingy is used (IDE) if you have 2 boards on the same cable / channel.

Who says that 2 different accounts from the same IP are used by the same person? I think we have a few brothers playing lfs with seperate accounts

I really hope that this has nothing to do with blind fanboyism (or whatever it's spelled) but with the simply realisation that all the complaints, all the threads and all the other stuff won't change or speed up anything. All it does is creating a negative atmosphere.

Don't buy S2 for the following reasons:

- you will loose interest in all other games
- you will end up buying expensive hardware (wheels, pc parts)
