thanks to answer but i saw this one, i build my car with these videos..

no problem with that, i assign correctly textures, my chromes to triangles, no problems !
this video show how to assign a png texture to differents parts of the car.
but in this case YOU ALREADY have a png texture ! ^^

i haven"t PNG texture yet : the AUTOSKIN is here to create one ! the shadows template!

so step 1 :
mode page
1- create/add new page
2- must i rename this page with "idmod_default" ??? or is this automatic elsewhere ?
3- set this texture as "skin"
4- ???

Ok, it was easy to find the grey buttons in page mode, but i doesn’t succeed to find the steps before !

I try to create new page ...
rename it with the “id_default” name ..
set as “skin” ..
try to draw a new map in 2d views..
have a message “… copying in clipboard” at a moment, so go to photoshop to paste ..Looking

nothing works ! I just obtain a white 2048 square !! Face -> palm
I also trying to select triangles but it deselect when return in “page mode”

I also try to analyse how LFS cars are made, but the texture skin already exist ..Confused

please, help me with a step by step from the beginning

the Version2 just released with these changes :
v2 :
- driver animation improved
- drum brakes attached to wheels
- better windscreen design
- added buttons to dashboard
- steering lock improved
- no concealed wheels
- Rear Wheel drive fixed
- Exhausts !

i trim brake at mini in default setup but it seems everyone can set more ingame ..

i do not succeed to attach correctly drums like "brake" cause it always merge/clash with wheel rim and eat the wires ... Frown

thanks a lot for your message Smile the animation is not very easy to set perfectly but the last (not released yet) is better !
it is difficult to engage more leaning because 3D driver's arms and car body merge visually. i will do my better

Version 2 with exhausts, upgraded windscreen and little work on engine would be cool !

wow ! it's a great idea ! your facility idea are right in tempo with my need (and also for all i think)
in photoshop, this kind of colour addition is the result of layer mode, it never happen before with the actual wireframe used.

is there the edge 1 pixel wide ? is there a possibility to "contract" each part of the mesh shot ?

few 3Dnoob errors made a messy mesh hard to work. this reboot is neat now, and working on half body is really more easy in building parts.

this version is 100x better !

some news about 1920 car

- i rename it cause it match more with the kind of engine i expect
thanks to MArtin to give me a 8inline with tractor like sound
- i restart the project cause i found many bugs in the mesh due to my unexperienced skill about the editor, so many mech and points in double and messy tri ..
now i work it all in half and the main+sub will be mirrored at the end
- i learn how to built and i succeed to have a car grille, lights attachements and a windscreen in option
- i also set a engine look like and learn about maps cutouts etc ..
- i also give the model the Hadraplan's wheel steer wich match perfectly and i thank to FlameCZE to give me the authorization

and the must for me is to succeed build vintage tiny spokes
