Quote from boothy :You can of course pass in qualifying, but if you're stuck behind someone on an outlap, either pass on the outlap or back off so you don't hold them up as you pass into T1.

lol, but okey

I thought you were allowed to pass under qualifying. I'll take the blame then.

Quote from jasonmatthews :Ok, from my opinion.......

MOE has been the biggest thing in LFS to achieve for. It does what it says on the tin - The Masters of Endurance!!!!

It doesn't need any gimmicks, any new classes, safety cars or anything at all. It simply is a league to find out which team is the Masters of Endurance... The best team in LFS at the GTR cars.

I admit that we have lost alot of good teams and drivers in the last 2 years since Scawen has been working on the tyre physics, but we have also had teams and drivers to replace them. Maybe they are not as good as the "aliens" but still, they want to win.

If you beat them in MOE, you can still claim that you hold the title of the best endurance team in LFS. You can only beat what is infront of you, not any legends.

I hope that you guys respect MOE for what it is. The only people telling me that MOE is dying are admins, but no racers are saying that. Can I get some confirmation that teams and drivers think it is boring and needs a change?

I also ask because it had taken us years to build up a team able to challenge for MOE, then when we get there, it seems the admins might move the goalposts.. I wonder if any other teams feel the same?

Maybe when the patch comes out we will see alot of the old skool come back to LFS, but until then, it means as much to any team to be accepted in MOE as it did years ago, and I'm sure they will do their best to uphold the standards and commitment it takes to be a part of the most prestigious league in our sim racing community.

+2

Quote from baSh0r :Ok, to be honest, trying to overtake there and then wondering that it goes wrong is foolish. You tried to pass and you saw that it is getting very close but you still kept going until you hit our car because there was no room left. A little blip would have prevented that situation easily. Additionally you lost exactly two places, as you started on place 7 and rejoined on place 9 at the end of the oval.

That was a risky move to do when you eagerly try to gain positions after a good start. I'm mentioning again: a little blip could have prevented that easily and you would have lost no positions.

Attached the pictures show, how you could have still lifted off and how you hit the wall first to then crash into our car aswell endangering our race too.

p.s. "unneeded squeeze from #28", i guess it could also mean: "unneeded squeeze from #27"

We were 6th when the accident took place. You squeezed us into that wall. Leaving a bit more room would got us through the turn without any problem. We were on the inside. He drove like there was no one there. There wasnt any need to lift, until you squeezed us. We went on the inside, as there was clearly room for it. Then you decided to drive like there was no one there, which ended up in contact.

Thats my opinion, and I understand you have another one. Lets leave it at that, and wait for the Admins opinions.

93./94. lap von #219 (ev0lutionsbremse)
Split 4 -> 1 (über Start/Ziel)

#225 will #219 (uns) überrunden.
#219 fährt auf der Geraden ganz links und #225 überholt rechts, fährt dann allerdings ohne erkennbaren Grund zu #219 nach links herüber und rammt den Wagen. (Absicht?!)

MfG

#219 - M. Schnieders
that scene is for sure a thing, that is not needed in such a race. It is understandable that 225 was a angry with 219 after they were blocked several times, but we will penalize such a scene if we see it. 20 seconds penalty

They blocked me for I dont know how long, when they were under blue flag. You can see clearly that they take the inside again down the straight, to block the leader (or 2nd, cant remember). I gave them a note, that he has to let me pass now. (something that worked) :P Yeah, not a good move, but when someone a lap behind is blocking you that intentionaly, over such a long period, you get angry at them.
