No. GTAL is a team-league. Though, you can be a "guest-driver" for other teams, and your team doesnt need to be "real", so you can drive with friends if thats wanted.
The newest addition to ineX Racing's lineup comes from Hannover, Germany. Nils "kai0r" Herrmann, 25 years of age, started with Live for Speed back in 2007. Before hand he was actively playing Counterstrike. He discovered LFS through CS-News where it had regular coverage due to being played at Intel Friday night games in the german ESL. He downloaded the demo and spent some money on a racing wheel, the rest is history. In three and half years he has managed to gather an impressive 370 000 kilometers done online. Besides simulation racing, Nils loves sailing, his biggest hobby since he was two years old. He also studies software engineering at the B.I.B international college.
During the Alternate 24h race, Nils drove a few stints for us and lived up to the expectations we desire. The race also served as an opportunity for him to get to know us and for us to get to know him better. We are happy to welcome Nils to the team and wish him a successful future under the ineX Racing tag!
I completely agree with you, but *caught*someone*caught* has driven 8 hours straight in the LFS endurance thing. And that *someone* has also driven 24 hours straight (in a hard fu*king plastic gokart-seat)
Give them UF1. They might manage to keep the car on track at least. But when I think of it, they'll just be in the middle of the track and take everyone out. F1 might be better then, so they're out of the race before the race has even started (they crash on the SC lap)
yeah, should be like DWB said: "Neither MoE or IGTC does that unless the disconnect is "suspicious.""
though, this is something we as drivers/managers should have pointed at before the race started. It is a bit late, but I still hope the admins can change the rule, even though its in the middle of the race. But if they dont, we simply have us self to blame, imo. We could have said this before the race was underway :P But hey, those things arent always that easy to spot
yes, they do. Which means that for example my timeout lost the team around 5 minutes. I timed out at the last split, which is about 2 mins, and then -1 lap which they add 2 mins and 50 sec. :P So about 5 mins lost for getting a dc in the last sector. So if you time out, you lose 2 mins and 50 sec + the time you had driven on the lap before you got dc.
This is imo extremely tough. It is like kicking a person thats already down.
