Turns out, the more tire pressure AI vehicles has, the more careful they tend to drive. I wonder how bikes will affect.
EDIT: Unless something else got updated in the meantime. At least AI takes corner more carefully, due less grip?
EDIT: Ahh "Braking prediction includes a safety margin to avoid late braking"... At very first AI did drive off the AS4 Corkscrew, but after editing a setup, that did not happen. According to earlier posts, it makes sense.
Yes, that is the case. This happens at least on AS4 and KY3 ( but KY3 not completely tested, but has happened on another vehicle, which is currently not available... mod I mean. )
It simply means "LFS is not responding". Of course, it could be rather a hard crash and not a soft one.
I got another one, which had exact same impact. INVALIDKA

EDIT: I do wonder if the issues are related to "Configurations". But then again, I have no idea. As I am currently testing bunch of vehicles AI is attempting to drive. ( Have to start somewhere though for investigating this, in case it is related to LFS itself and not the mods )
Bug Report: Using Karts with having 24 degree Caster makes AI not able to drive a kart at all, causing to regenerating path everytime when restarting race from lobby

EDIT: On this .spr file, it happens right before the corkscrew, and on the end of .spr. Seems like it is always a little bit different each time, but on here, this Hadraplan reproduces this issue 100%.
Another example, although much rarer, is LX8 GTR Evo made by Blz0. There it is reproduceable, but i have only managed to see it three times... it lasts from 1 second to 1 fraction of the second, everytime different.
Then there are ofc other vehicles, but have seen only just once.

EDIT4: Seems like this may be involved as well as what kind of setup AI is currently using, I am using ofc Level 5 AI, but just a little change to something, such as gear ratio, and then it is not happening if at all. This is absolutely interesting, so I will test this on rather bigger scale. Also using full grind instead of just 1 vehicle.
I found a plausible issue with AS4 track for AI... there is chance that AI seems to not choosing to drive full speed on straight after corkscrew section. I did found out now a several cars now. If this is related to tyre physics, then it is fine.
EDIT: It happens on slower cars almost everytime, while faster cars it is dependable for other reasons of why it is not occurring exactly everytime.

Bug Report: Ai Using Hadraplan has interesting anomaly as it's like preventing to engine overheat when reaching over 90km/h, even if gear ratios allows to go actually faster. I wonder if this is same issue with any other vehicles. Speedometer only shows 90km/h as max, once AI reaches over 90, ( somewhere 92-93 ) on downhill, it starts not using full throttle anymore.

Yeah, Track is RO10 which has most of the issues, such as AI tending to get pit penalty way too often, First hairpin seems to be always messy. They do take corner smoothly, but not with more than 1 vehicle. Also they tend to get stuck sometimes in pitlane if qualification is started
EDIT: Motorbike AI and vehicles generally makes AS5 layout quite well, but seems like Bike AI tends to cut grass after major T1 ( it is that kink to upright, funny )
As I have some buffed up PC, I would like to try some AI with 40 AI racers.
Because this has turned up to A.I. update, and ppl are looking test patches, is there someone who knows how to get 40 AI racers like in past back then? ( by saving the grid and with command use with /ai something, which also included of changing their names ).
I said earlier I will just wait a patch with new tyre physics, but as I noticed more people being more keen into this, I think I take another shot as well. Something uncommon for sure.
EDIT: Seems like AI is quite interesting on Rockingham layouts, regardless of any ( Excluding Oval ). Some "Multidimensional Mayhem" with any kind of vehicles. It is both better and worse. Certain turns ( Hairpin left hand ) seems to be too impossible for AI without proper setup, or air-intake restrictions. ( I tried 64 different vehicles, picked up randomly, anything goes as long as it could move by itself )

So, attempting to get my gaming pad to work on LFS. Live For Speed doesn't recognize this product other than making it working on Profiler. No idea though if it is wise to continue and change core utilities inside Windows 11, as this already outdated.
Controller is Logitech F710 and needs to be on Direct Input mode
EDIT: Yes, I do remember now, it is back buttons, they are actually axis, not buttons. with profiler that could be changed. used "R2" as TC on/off toggle. Now I have to use something else
