Whats the advantage of that? I guess your talking about the server config. I think its better left as separate. Besides, in the client, it wouldn't even be there, unless its acting as a server.

I'm trying to get this to work, and it just won't work. I downloaded Mono 1.2.3.1 . Installed it, then ran it. The shell popped up. I then changed to lfslapper folder. Started my server, joined. Typed /insim=29339 (my insim port - also tried 29999). Then I ran the mono start bat file in the bin folder of lfslapper. Everytime, it crashed.

I created a database folder, created two files PB.txt and DriftPB.txt. Then I put that into the cfg with database=path to files (can't be bothered typing it). Everytime I get the same error. Connection reset by peer. Then a whole mess of coding stuff I don't understand.

If you want me to post a screenie, i will.

Jeez, couldn't you have just made it into a normal program rather than having to mess with all this stuff. lol

+1 for that. Good ideas Add an advanced/basic setup option so, the noobs can use simple method, n others can use the full blown asymetric setup options

I have made sure its not any processes in the background. I have a tool to view processes, not the windows one. It never shows everything. Typically, it happens when a fan spins up in the computer (how wierds that), at least I think its a fan, its the loudest noise and its quite loud when it starts up.

The other thing that needs fixing, is on my host name (admin) and my user name (venus), the client often forgets on both I've chosen full screen, and starts windowed. I'd love that fixed please, its very annoying. Small thing I know... but still.

Hi,

Something I think should be considered to be added for servers, is to allow players not only to choose the track they want, but also the cars they want and have it restricted to just that car during that session. Currently, if you select all the cars, they can race any one they like. It'd be nice if they select a car, they all drive that car.

Yeh that annoys me too. I'd like to be able to have the AI pit. Without it, you can' run them for really long races. At blackwood, the best you can do is about 40 odd laps in the XFG. Not sure about other tracks/cars. I'm amazed they didn't do it when they made the game.

I wasn't hosting a demo server. I was hosting an S2 server, racing the FOX on Aston Club. I know you can't when you host demo (though you should be able to since we bought the game).

OK. This is really beginning to annoy me. I have S2 now. And am hosting a server. But even now, I still can't kick/ban some users. I have one user I want to ban right now called JebuS (multicoloured), and it won't let me do anything to him.

You say since I have S2 now, I should see there real names without colours, but I don't see that. If I bring up the Connection list, all I see is list of names the same as you see them in game, with graphic chars and colours.

Can you please release a patch to fix this problem? Its simple to fix. Just make it ban by connection number. Please? As it is, the only way I have of getting rid of an annoying user, is to close the server down.

Personally, what I'd like to see, and an auto race steward. Something that has certain rules built in that it uses to make decisions. ie in passing, if you are not up to the rear of the front door of the car your passing, and you tap them, then its a penalty. Same for joining without looking.. all the usual stuff. I'm sure something could be written for it. It wouldn't be easy, for sure. But it would solve the whole problem. Auto kick the aliens, and let the rest of us who adhere to those basic niceties, have some fun.

One for the BF1. But I'd really love one for the FOX please. Instead of Number 7, I'd like number 1 please. Simply because there's only one world.

So if there's someone out there, amazingly talented to be able to do this, I'd be in total awe.

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a skin for the cockpit? I'm not really interested in reskinning it. What I do want however is to move the lil tacho led light, that lights when more power is available at next gear. In the FOX. Its on the LCD display. I want to move it to the cockpit edge above the wheel, and make it larger, so its dominant in my field of view.

Anyone know how to do this? If so, could someone do it for me please?

They are there because it reduces the glare from the sky and sun. Narrows the view out the windshield to assist the drivers focus by eliminating distractions (such as whizzing jets, Blimps etc). Mostly though its for glare reduction. I like them in Sims for just that purpose. Cutting out the sky I don't need to see, and narrowing my focus. In real race cars, there's the added bonus of being able to put a sponsor there, who will give you some nice Dollars or bits for the privelege.

It would be silly for it to select an object for it to focus on. Since they did it, then the only way to make it workable is to blur beyond a certain distance. However... those images suggest the distance isn't very far. Particularly if you notice the bikes on the grid. The furthest bike is blurred which is only a few metres away. So if it is being blurred by distance, then you would find parts of the track you want to see blurred (just when you need them sharp).

Great for replays, but if it works like that; I definitely wouldn't want it on while racing.

I'd love the game tho. I love MotoGP. Go Tino!!!!

Really Cue-Ball? How? I don't really understand what In-Sim is. I thought it was more that it allowed you to stream a game (mp) to a 3rd party viewer.

No, its when you are in a server, or in single player, in a race. For no reason, it just drops to windows (as if I've pressed Alt Tab) and I've not touched the keyboard (using my joystick). Its really very annoying, and I can't see why its doing it.

Another thing. I have mine set to full screen. But it seems whether its full screen or windowed when I load it, is a lottery. I'd love that fixed too pls.
