Thank you, really appreciate it . I would love to do a kombi version, but sadly the number of configurations dont really allow me to. I'll try to find a compromise, I'm also working on a hot version of the trabi, so stay tuned for that
So with the latest update, i managed to get skins working! so if anyone wants to get creative, i've attached the wireframe template, along with the black outline and shaded skins in this post.
thank you for the swift answer! it was the second one the "main" right cutout i had assigned wrongly to plastic, all the other ones were paint. fixed that and now it works, thanks again!
Hello, i have an issue where the opposite side of the mapping resets when i exit the modeller. when i exit it says "cross-texture triangle found - mapping corrected" altough when i add the opposite side of the mapping it doesnt say it, and i had fixed it when it did say it. now it disables the opposite side whenever i leave modeller. i dont see any triangles which would be cross-textured, thanks in advance
i know about this issue, dont really know why it does it, i will try to find a fix in the next update
it has 0 caster, i will add a bit of negative caster in the next update, maybe it'll help. you also have to realise its only 660kg and with a rear bias.
loaded up a server, drove 30 seconds, then suddenly crashed. tried to load back in the server and as soon as i load in it crashes. server was "just a ride", game works now
feels really good! i've owned three 6th gen civics, and *on mouse* it feels similar handling wise , in my opinion, it has a bit too much power, and it loses its balance. even 20hp less would be perfect for the amount of grip and weight also, theres no way in hell you'd be able to fit 245's on a stock civic. also double wishbone is a must, it's a reason why eg's and ek's were revered upon handling wise. could also explain why it tends to understeer then snap into oversteer unpredictably, but that might also be setup. gorgeous looking mod though!
feels like physics are made for a car with a much shorter wheelbase. sound also clips often, steering wheel is too small, and animation is off. model looks good, and in general the whole car feels good. just needs a bit more work.
tyres are too big, also, abs on a 240z? that doesnt really make much sense. suspension geometry is all over the place, and setup is not really that good, front end is always bouncing. sound is very loud, and i get that it's the devil zetto, but i think a stock 240z would be better for lfs. overall a good model, but intentions not that good.
this, this and this!! 326power has nothing to do with kanjo racers as well. this is more of a stance-y americanized vision of what kanjo racers are. kanjo racers are bare bones lightweight traffic runners, not hellaflush sunroof-having cruisers. this is no way made to disrespect the mod, its well made, just it's not a kanjo racer
could there please be some kind of regulation regarding mods of which the sound clips? lfs distortion is not very pleasant to hear, and most mods seem to disregard that clipping is a thing when editing the engine sound
~responding here so i dont have to make a useless thread
i'm sorry, but i've been playing lfs for more than 15 years on and off, you get tired and bored. even though i've had s3 for some years now, i still only play on blackwood, because there just arent enough servers or events to race on more combos than xrg/xfg on all tracks. the difference is when i get on assetto i can just choose some random combo and go race with random people, here if i wanna just drive and race when i feel like it, i have to either play demo combos, or wait for some weekly event to race with people im most likely not going to be competitive against.
