For all the three g25 pedals are used springs, only the brake one is bit stiffer therefore stronger. The tubes are required so there will be no side to side motion while some "drivers" treat them bad, example - drifters.
If the spring has snapped you should look up your warranty and try to find the local logitech dealer or send mail explaining what the problem is. Dont open the pedals yet tho (if u haven't done it already) because they might ask for some proof that the warranty is still valid by asking for pictures of the screw heads that hold the whole pedal unit in one peace. But if you've already sticked your nose inside to see "how it's made" im not sure what could be done but still have a chat with logitech's support.
That said is based on knowledge from my teammates who had similar pedal problems in the past.
What he said, but if you really want (which i highly doubt if u know what the consequences might be) an switch/main trip switch and electricity meter in your shower room you'd need switches and mainly - boxes with high IP (What is IP?) to keep the moisture out of where its not supposed to be at all. That im sure will cost more than taking ones you have now, outside the room.
First of all congrats to both parts, it kinda came out of nowhere to us.
Gotta say Kris did great work in the 24 hours race, helped alot on team speak and given setup he needed very little time to become quick with it
Definitely a very good, friendly and having good potential guy!
One thing tho... when you start something try to make it to the end, dont give up too easy!
I see there was installer update since this thread been made because now with the bulgarian version of the translation done when i redownload the updater and run it, it automaticly goes to english.
Its not problem for me but im wondering how to make it work with bulgarian.
PC is ran on up-to-date XP sp3 and Bulgarian is selected in every place possible in the "Regional and language options" at CP.
Trulli knew that if hes gonna try it on the outside its going to be tight because Sutil has all the "rule" there (infront,on the racing line, ahead of Trulli). Now problem is that imo he thought it will be toooo tight so went a bit wide (id call this is drivers mistake not being able to judje a diffrent line from the racing one thro a corner), so right wheels on the grass and he accelerates like hes on the race line no awareness theres not enough grip from the grassi area. => loses the car which is... well normal and hits Sutil from behind with already out of control car.
Acidents like these start with some one too brave and stupid failing to accomplish a monouver and they call this racing incident... just because theres not good enough penalty to be applied for some dumb *ss?
Imo its all Trullis fault but not for crashing Sutil because his car was already out of control going left but for going too wide when he had clearly enough room.
If it was Sutil to blame he would've looked for contact there/stay on the curb and Trulli would either leave the track on his own or bump into Sutil and again go have a picnic.
excuse me for this but im planing to buy a new pc in the next days with this exact cpu model just wanted to ask if its any good as performance/noise etc. Whats your view about it?
We could do this via pm if you want so thread can stay mintly clean
What ever we say it is all known that you guys are one of the most respected teams around here.
Its a big lose for this community but you will be remembered.
Wish ya all members the best whatever comes in their future.
This week will be something big... they say that last days before a star dissapears she shines the brightest.
All in all imo its too detailed look into options that a game which have intentions to be racing simulator on first place doesnt really need. For god sake people... CRUISING!
Are you using these while you're playing on your pc? LFS, CS maybe? Im thinking that people use this kinda plugs for listening to fav music while in the bus reading yellow papers... for instance
Ofcourse when there is warranty the last thing to do is to open it up your own doh. Thing is these wheels arent too hard to repair if u have the right tools and knowledge. Basicaly the only parts you can find hard to repair are the potentiometers and the electronics stuff.
Thing is with is with the wheels that their engines are just like the engines on your windsreenwipers or which are used by the electrical windows in cars. They are very efficient but tend to overheat quickly so u cant use them for too long with maximum load cause they just burn.
Im having g25(2nd hand, from a drifter xD) for little over an year and the only problem is the throttle pot that needs spiriting from time to time ( once~twice a year ). The wheel is very durable, but could've been done much better ofcourse that would've made it way more pricy.
Had you tried to open up the wheel? I think its an electrical problem in the wheel it self, rather than PC/USB/Power problem.
Might be something tiny, if u open it up i suggest testing all the wires in there see if something is lose and if it is try to weld the faulty connection.
Usually on endu races or using the wheel ( G25 ) for more than an hour or so the electric motors get really hot. Depends on how much ffb u use but imo g25 isnt well engineered because if u put it to max power ( like i used to lol 150 in game 105 > profiler ) the motors will die pretty soon.
Overall im hoping its not an electronic problem because usually these faults are harder to repair :\
