So far goin well, although 1 shock absorber snaped in half, so i had to glue it back together, but still doesnt look right. also, one of the holes that later something goes in is glued over, ill have to fix that with a tac or something.

We were in conversation with another skinner, he dropped out, once again we are looking for a skinner.

Hmm, well I started a new skin andf it seems to be workin fine, but on the old skin it is still not showing up. However, when I move off the first layer(the skin so far) I find all the .png images and text underneath that, on the master skinnerz template.
Whatever, weird problem, but its working with the other skin, so no bigy

Thanks alot man! This worked for abit, but now suddenly any .png or any text doesnt show up? I checked the colour, and it is different, any ideas what could be wrong?

Ok, just started skinning with gimp and I have a few questions.
1.How to make the whole car a different colour for example the xrt is by default white how can i change it to say, red?
2.When I get logos and such from say google images, how to remove the white background. I jus want the actuall logo.

CURRENTLY HAVE A SKINNER
Hey guys, I am asking a very, very big favour from a talented skinner in the community.
LegiT Racing Team is a team that is pretty much ready to be announced, we have a server already, a logo, a forum, we are working on a site, and we have a server(kindly donated by cargame.nl). One thing we really need is skins.
We have been in contact with several skinners before, but they have dropped out, and so we were wondering if any kind, talented skinner would be willing to make LegiT Racing Teams skins. We would be greatly thankful.
If anybody is interested drop me a pm, and ill quickly get back to you with more info(base skin, theme, etc.).

Hey guys, ive just recently started makiing my first skins, which are totall fails, and I use windows paint. Im just wondering a couple of things about the program:
1. Is there a ruler tool to make straight lines? If so, where?
2. Some people have really cool designs on their skins that couldnt possibly have been drawn freehand, how to make those?
3. and im wondering how to change the color of the entire car, cant seem to get it out of white.

I thought that maybe some cars can only turn their wheel 180 degrees? correct m if im wrong, but it might just be that you are using a car that has 180 degree sterring.

Lol, same thing happens over here all the time, although there are a few LFS drivers over here, but for the most part its totally unkknown. I hate that too, constantly having to explain that LIVE for speed is different from NEED for speed.
