Sorry Wizard just seen your reply to me, yeah it's been a while! Dead Men racings server is still there mate although hardly any of the guys use LFS anymore, most of them are on AC now.
That post is from 10 years ago mate, was probably different back then, I too had a voucher sat in my account for a while before giving it away, think that was there for a fair while before it got used.

As you say discussing vob mods on here and how to create them won't end well, especially linking or discussing how it is done and what software to use. I'm sure there are forums or sites that will give you all the info you need.
To be fair they are probably a lot more accurate nowadays then when this thread was made 10 years ago!

The problem you have TE is that this forum often (very often) gets demo users asking for a licence, fair play you have actually contributed to the community with your app, looks great btw! However I really don't think you helped your cause by stating that you could afford it but would rather spend the cash on a PC.
Best of luck, some one may sponsor you but personally if you do rate this game so highly, £12/24/36 isn't much money in the grand scheme of things and it all helps support the development of this sim.

I know way back when me, SilverRacer and a few others put the vouchers up we where always unsure if they would get used at all or hopefully go to someone who would actually use them over a longish term and upgrade themselves. So it is great to see you still racing!

If you click through the user names on the airio site it shows most of (the ones that havent hidden their stats that is) them have next to no miles driven and none of them are showing as having previously raced online with LFSWorld nor do they have any pb's stored.

If you look away from all the recent crack topics and look at the rest of the forum you'll find it is actually a very friendly and helpful community, just some people don't set the best first impressions...
Some of the "crack users" (your words not mine) posting on here have accounts registered for more than a year (including yourself) and have openly admitted to using crack content for a long time, just how much time do you need to go from potential buyer to licence owner?

Why did we buy S3? I can't speak for everyone but in my case certainly it was purely the chance to try another track (knowing more content will come one day) and also to give the devs a bit of support for all the years I/we've had out of this sim. Whether it is worth it I guess comes down to the individual and what they expect, I guess some will wait for more content but I know I'd end up buying at some point so may aswell do it straight away
I just find it all pretty pathetic, people moaning because they don't want to pay a onetime small fee, the devs have worked for 10+ years on this and you think it is perfectly fine to just take it and use it because you can, what an awesome attitude to have people, I hope one day when you are out in the real world trying to make a living for yourself no one rips you off in the same way...
Agreed, ok it's not as busy as it used to be around here but last few times I've been on B2r it's been pretty much full for most of the evening (uk time).

Similar, hit limiter in my first Impreza so around 250km/h but much more fun to be had around tight twisty roads, obviously all done on either on private land or the autobahn....
