Hey guys,

do you know any rather serious league in AC with GT class cars? Really looking forward for some serious racing. If not, maybe at least better events with not 1-3 laps? Thanks.

sure, thats why zero leagues are going on. It's that awesome!

you are so wrong here :P

right.. you call this serious?

http://youtu.be/0qTU9oGPi30?t=4m0s

complete nonsense. 14 cars also and what a race, lol.

Dave, why you judge about simulation by one jerk's behavior on the track? Inadequate statement. Following your logic, it seems that even bad arcade game is great if there are no jerks on the track We judge simulation by its standards, not its community, driving ethics.

Well I don't know why you are so pessimistic. MP seems fine. If server has low ping, all cars running smoothly, and you can have an awesome race. Physics are top notch, not even talking about graphics, which are just phenomenal.

Absolute masterpiece, Jens! It's just amazing. Uplifting, energetic, unpredictable, rich. You don stop surprising us. I think you redeem your lack of interest in technical side of the project with amazing story line. You are a good director.

One of those rare occasions, when cover beats the original.

Fantastic photos, Tautvis. Although, some photos are a bit overdone (speaking about post production). The main problem - too much of contrast and too much saturated photos, but the rest are top notch Impressive photography.

Charles Bridge, St. Vitus Cathedral and the main square, of course But I am not so sure if you manage to visit all these places, knowing the fact you are there for a half of the day

Note: Prague is really big, and St. Vitus Cathedral is really high on the hill, so it takes some time and energy to climb up the hill (especially at such weather conditions like nowadays, trust me - I did this month ago. It's *whew* thing, you know )

That's what you get when you over push with Twixtor settings, while working with 25-30fps progressive scaled footage

Record at 60 fps to get less glitches. Glitches are bad. They ruin the whole thing

Puikus video! Lengvas montažas be bereikalingų efektų. Spalvos labai gražios.

Quote from troy :It is quite hard on gpu, try turning down the shadows, that helped me getting a lot better performance on some parts of the track.

No, currently it's all hard on CPU. GPU is not even half used in MP. I have a good GPU, and with mid settings I can get up to even 170 fps, but MP with the same settings it just drops to 70-80 and with many cars around I have 40-50+ fps, at night drops even to 30+ fps. So... Definitely AC is not just all about GPU. You can't state that.

Why with 20 various GT class cars I have pretty stable 55 up to even 80 fps, meanwhile with 20 Ferrari 458 cars fps drops quite dramatically to even 42 or something like that, and reaches basically just above 60 fps as optimum value? It's deal with polygons? Maybe Ferrari 458 car is much more detailed, so it requires more calculations on CPU?

Quote from Töki (HUN) :I don't really care about this booking system, once you're on the track, it doesn't really matter, I played iRacing so I kind of got used to waiting. Not bad for a first release to be honest, but there's still a lot to do.
I only had issues with the contacts so far. Funky things happen even if you bump the other one slightly.

This.

As long somebody can't join the server, it automatically makes system bad?Really? I think without that booking system there wouldn't be any chance of joining the server at all.

Can't join? Host your own server. It's not a big drama if you can't book. All you need is patience and don't sleep when free slot is available. After I installed 0.9, i couldn't book for maybe 10 min or so, but I waited and finally got a chance to book and drive a very nice combo Ferrari 599XX @ Monza.

I have to say MP is amazing. It's so stable. No jerking, lagging cars whatsoever :OO Only lag those cars of those players who lag themselves, but in overall many people have stable ping, so no jerking cars, when you overtake them, nothing unpredictable happens.
FPS is fortunately really good, in 20 server about 55-80 fps.

Rage incoming. "What the... I can't even race, all servers occupied, no free slots available" *rage* *rage* But yeah.. Fun Finally! I laugh at face to those who started hypocrisy about developers' bad communication and their statements which are not honest and accurate.

LFS has a lot of amazing video, but most videos are similar.
I played a little with new plugins I wanted my video make different than others. I used on full video warm contrast and for something special i uses effect miniature but it is not everywhere it has just the right effect + rays(1.52) like it + other graphic changes as (2.17 , 2,47). Create 3 min video this was hard time for proposing and I learned many new things.... now already has an ideas which have not been used in lfs, but this all needs time and mood.....

I really felt your ambition to make an unique video, and it's pretty looks like it. I do respect your ambition and your efforts. Best of luck

P.S Oh yeah, the colors in this video are warm and sweet.

Quote from Töki (HUN) :All this rage. These people have no idea how software development works. It's just a game, some people should stop being nolifers and refreshing twitter/steam in every single minute, then raging on the forums where MP is. It's like their life depends on it. Get a life and go outside, stop whining.

I'm waiting for MP as well, but I don't really care if it comes today, or 2 weeks later. It simply doesn't matter.

When you have a life, it feels like you are not waiting at all. You are occupied by some kind of activity anyways that makes time fly fast, but for those nolifers, who refresh page every sec., it's like one day feels like the whole year. It's the same like suddenly I just start passionately waiting for Christmas to come and counting down every single second. C'mon, just live your live and eventually events gonna happen, and you won't even realize how the time flies fast.

Quote from Slovakia ring :After a long time my video Genuine Racing GT Masters 2014
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7tDYGEfhiM

Amazing piece of video. A couple of shots I found really astonishing, for instance, at 1:20 (that zoom out is fantastic solution when car appears from behind the camera and drives away, makes a nice feeling), 1:40 that close up in grandstands is just wow, and 1:50 is the same as 1:20, but a little bit better when cars drive away in slow mo, and a bit more smooth shot in general.

Cons: that fake lighting, for instance, at 1:52 (well, I can agree, apart from the fact it looks unnatural, that lighting actually done pretty nicely and professionally), blur (get rid of that, really. It looks way unnatural and too heavy, and actually covers a half of the video. Don't use blur on software, you can't really simulate real depth of field (except at certain scenarios), so it after all looks awkward. I've used blur for a while since I started making video till I realize it looks unnatural and pretty stupid), camera movement (apart from those wonderful shots I mentioned, there are still plenty of shots made with a drifting camera movement. I mean the subject (car, an action) sometimes gets out of the shot and camera just captures unnecessary things (I wouldn't tell you about camera stuff, but as I saw your potential, reflected in my mentioned periods of your video, it makes me responsible to push you a little bit, to motivate you to work a little harder next time, cos it will make your video just wonderful, as it was at those certain episodes of your video).

9/10. I give a high mark for a big potential. Best of luck.

Of course, the main emotion generator is the music, but the video footage is great as well, in a mix the impression is even reinforced.

A quick note: his surname is written in wrong way. It's Nogieć. Cheers.

Quote from TAUTV1S :Hello.
My first post in this thread, so sorry for a little spam.
I'm using Canon eos 500d with kit 18 - 55mm lens, but some photos are done with 50mm f1.8, which i recently broke down.

Puikios nuotraukos, Erikai. Gražios kompozicijos, ir kaip jau aukščiau manęs asmuo minėjo, fainas post-production. Spalvos gražios, tik gal vietom biški dar su saturacija ir kontrastu pažaist reiktų, bet apart to puiki fotografija.
