I remember when everybody ran the xfg at the lowest rideheight and the widest wheelbase. Looked really stupid with the tires sticking out like that but was the way to go if you wanted to be competitive.

I think the reason for narrowing the tires on the fxo is that they are too wide compared to what would actually be realistic to fit in real life. There was a thread once discussing the tiresizes (cant find it with search) but they concluded that the fxo was running 245's front and back while the xrt was running 205 and 215 I think it was.

and like LRB_Aly says, narrower tires will increase brakedistance and corner speed, not the overall balance of the car.

tried out the tweak settings yesterday and it was quite fun. a few adjustments to the setup and it was hooking like mad on blackwood.

3 questions.

1. is stock hatch officially dead? yes/no answer will do
2. has it been testet that tweak actually works on a dedi server like Becky Asked?
3. What are the dates?

I visited CeBit in Hannover Germany this weekend and I didnt see that anywhere? I saw a F1 stand in hall 2 I think but it was not LFS that was running on it.

It was a cockpit exactly as those shown in in this thread but there was only 1.

This series is for Danish Citizens with an S2 License

It's time to start the Danish Championship 2007. From the feedback from the participants from the Danish Championship 2006, it was made clear that people wanted to get rid of the hotlap qualification before each race. Instead we're holding a prequalification series.

The idea is to have a series with 5 races and the top 20 when the series has ended will be qualified to participate in the Danish Championship 2007 which will be held in the fall 2007.
For those who didn't qualify, a support series will be created but more info about this during the summer.

The prequalificationseries will consist of differet car/track combination like the Danish Championship itself. One of these combinations was voted by the "participants" on the official danish lfs forum, and they decided they wanted to race the XRT on the Aston North Reverse configuration.

Something new this year is that we now have a nonparticipating panel of judges to take care of complaints so that we, race admins, can keep our focus on points etc.

The ruleset has been updated so that it now covers almost all thinkable situations. Nothing is perfect so it will be updated during the series if needed to.

To sign up for this prequalification series you have to send me, sp3ctr3, a PM on the official danish lfs forum. Entries end Friday 30th 2007

If the old master server is taken down and the new one only supports u30 and v then wont it be possible to unlock older versions anymore?

I have most of the previous releases and say I want to try out some S1 Final, I wont be able to unlock all the cars tracks?

Its not like its playing sound with no video or the other way around. As soon as I start it up it shuts down the player emidiately??

Ive tried MP10, MPC and PowerDVD and all of them shut down emidiately

are the dates for the races set yet?

one of the requirements is to show up at most of the races. thats pretty hard to fulfill when you dont know when we're racing?
