I can say we do not run races of more then 1000 laps
Normally we race around 50 laps max.

Hi ,

in our league we also use a safety car procedure.
It brings back the action and keeps the number of racers in the race higher as racers do not quit after they got stuck and reset is not allowed.

But there is no use to call for a Safety Car 2 laps before the end of the race..
And sometimes even I am some laps down and have no idea what lap the leaders are in when someone calls for the safety car.

Is there a tool/method I can use to display the number of laps the leader is in?
I have now Ario and racedirector running on the server.

I can only say we've started a new season. 11th already !!!!.
We were with 14 racers last night..
It started bad as the first server ( liveforspeed.be1) crashed completely ...
So we've switched to our second server liveforspeed.be2.. I was wondering, with indeed only 14 racers, why the hell we needed 2 servers.. But on such situations you know why of course.

How do we try to attract as many racers as we can ??
SECURE clean racing as much as possible with just enough rules and fair play.
Using a safety car procedure where we bring back action and keep racers in the game..

But indeed 14 is not a lot but I must say most of them race with us for years now.. So I guess we're not doing a bad job..

And also for 14 racers it is a lot to invest in money and time as we do now have 2 full servers 24/7 online, pay for the website hosting and keep this all up to date, writing newsletters, review every race, write race reports, creating lot's of graphical designs..etc...
We also have a nice reward for the season winner. A special autograph from Toro Rosso and next year Redbull driver Daniel Ricciardo

But we do loving it !!! But this does not take away that we want to know if there is even a future for LFS development !!!!

So are there guys here that are in contact with the programmers ?? I there an event we can organize to sound an alarm bell to those guys ???

So please help each other instead of all those negative reactions..

Improvements.. suggestions .. S3 proposals... al nice initiatives..

By exception of the Multi-player update .. A real game news on updates (not an update ) is from 28th Dec 2011.. on the tyre update progress..
An update that is prior to the Scirocco update..

The Scirroco update first annouced on Dec 11th, 2008..and postponed on the 18th dec 2008 for the tyre...
So already around 5 years to develop a tyre.. ???

I can only hope they are reprogramming the complete game to compete with the current race games on graphics... I hope not on handling of the car because that is way above the average of other race games !

So I wanted to hear from the developers if they truly still are investing in the game or do you simple let the game bleed to death.. In that case I would stop putting in more proposals and good ideas !!

I do hope to read that S3 is on his way (short way )

I don't see the problem,
I fyou want a website, cpanel , then pay more with another hoster. All I wanted was a new server to race on and with Airio and Race director running on it with 47 slots. and that I have for a very cheap price.

And it is not that you can not control you servers with a "control Panel" because you can. only the editing of the files has to be done locally and then uploaded with Filezilla or other ftp client.
Even if you edit it with Filezilla you get a pop-up to notify the file has been changed and the question if he can update the cloud version.
So works very smooth for me ..
But again if you want a Cpanel to edit your files then pay double or more on other hosters

The Liveforspeed.be League signed in for a 47 slot LFS server for one year after 500servers stopped there service for a reason still unknown...

Sorry Dean , I hope you're alright, but I have a league coming out of a winter stop.. The league is about to restart in about 2 weeks and I do have obligations to the races in my league.. even if they don't pay for it.. I've organised it so I carry the obligation !.

So a totally other question.. What is another good host service for LFS?? good price /quality ?
