You Becky are probably one of the brightest and most articulate people I have come across on forums on the internet , there are times when you lose me completely ( this in itself is no great shakes as words and me have never been friends tbh).

The game is dying we all hate that , if the cruisers can squeeze a little bit of enjoyment from it fair play to them !

All regular racers know that the cruise scene is riddled with cheats and hacks .. leave em to it , they won't last 2 mins on a well admined race server .

CSU1 is just annoyed because he wanted to vent on a cruise server and it bit him in the ass ... gotta admit I did lol at him trying to justify it by whipping on a super hero costume and claiming he did it for the good of the community !!

Hi , a friend is trying LFS demo but is having problems getting lfs to see the G25 pedals he has plugged into his fantec wheel .. he runs windows 7 , has no such issues with other sims .

Have a friend that paid out to get his A licence just to play the Williams F1, and he loves it, he is hooked ...

For me I agree mostly m8 ( tho I heard a new tire model just landed , wonder if that improved anything ? )

Another full year untill another patch ? Hmmm what with Iracing just releasing its 4th or 5th new car this year ( last 1 being the Williams F1 ) and GT5 just hitting the shops , I fear that a year may be too long .

Tho as Pat said , the chat log to that convo would make interesting reading ...Or they could just man up and tell us its gonna be next xmas if we are lucky ?

I left LFS ( dont cheer yet ) but will be back for s3 ( told ya not to cheer ) ...Untill then I found other stuffs to do ect , things to try ..

For example I am now very very good at getting my ass handed to me in BFBC2 .

Gotta say if I had a PS3 , GT5 would be mighty tempting as the chap mentioned earlier ( g25 works on that also ) But I don't so i guess I will keep getting my ass handed to me in BC2

Gotta agree with deadwolfbones , T1 looks great fun ie a hairpin sat at the top of what looks like quite a steep lil hill , the turn 2-10 just look like a blast good high speed section to start followed by slower ...ending with a cresting slight left ( gonna go light there ) .

Get good drive out of 11 and you have a shot into 12 for sure , followed again with a few slow speed corners so hanging on round the outside gonna pay off .

I think some people here think its cool atm to slag off a particular track designer , and do so regardless of what was put before you .

At least wait untill you have watched a lap , or driven it in a sim that does real tracks ....

another thing worth keeping in mind Jake ... If you have 60 entrants to a specific race Iracing will split that number into 3 different races , how the inital 60 is split depends on your Irating and your SR , so if you can get yourself into the top or middle split things are all good . However if you are in the bottom split then things can ( not always ) get a little touchy .

Soon as your Irating is up around 1700-2000 this shouldnt be a problem as you will hit the middle split

Tbh m8 the mazda is the 1st of the cars that offers less noobs .. you maybe thinking of the skip barber as that is a class D car ... mazda being class C and there fore needing much more money to get too ..

I dabble in Iracing and once you are out of the rookie cars its a blast , yes expensive but that keeps the idiots of the track .

Its really nice for someone that cant get past you to actually WAIT for a definate gap rather than just pushing past with a divebomb .

If you want serious racing ..and can afford it then it takes some beating , and Intrepid is right you just cant have the amount of infrastrucre in a game for free , so subs will be the way to go for serious stuff .

Lfs still great to pick up every now and then tho ... just my 2 cents

Imvho , I think the 25 offer great value ...

Yup the extra buttons are nice , but the lack of sequential on the shifter means no fly off handbrake ( have my downshift on the shifter set to hand brake , and it works very well ....very WRC )

Fantec is a nice wheel for sure , but by the time you add pedals it gets a bit pricey


Bang fer buck i think the G25 is hard to beat

Been away for a while , was chuffed to see a report . Great to see that they are still at it.

Keep at it chaps ...gotta be the home straight by now



Oh and I agree with Jason , a little update every couple of months would be nice . Dont have to be much , just a paragraph or so .
