for a few days now the "?action=hosts" command sends a wrong version-flag in TMLT. For example "[email protected]" has a "1" in Type which stands for new S1 but I am quite sure this is a S2-Sever. And there are quite a few more servers where this happens.
Short translation in english:
A nine year old japanese boy takes the car of his parents and wants to drive to his grandparents. He knew how to drive because of his love to racing-games.
The police was alarmed by a pedestrian who thought he'd see a car without a driver.
The police found the car perfectly parked in front of a store where the boy asked for the way.
If he really learned with the BF1 in LfS then RESPECT!
It took me a while but finally I made the necessary changes for PatchY to my LfS-Browser. The new Version 1.2 has also some kind of playermanagement. That means you can select one of your LfS-Playernames as default. This is the one you connect to most servers with. If you change the LfS-Playername and connect to a server this Playername is stored for this server and is used from now on. This is a very helpful feature if you drive in one or more leagues (eg. you have to use realname).
I've got a workplace with 22" Wide Monitor, Desktop-Speakers and a Headset. Both use the Output of the 1st card for playing games etc.
Next to it is my tv (using DualView) and my Home-Cinema Dolby Digital set which uses Soundcard 2.
So till i started using Power-DVD (i have no other 1080p-device yet than my PC) my wife could watch a DVD while i was playing LfS. In Power-DVD it is not possible (like in all other players (except WinDVD!!) to select the audio-device. So it can happen that a Skype ring frightens the hell out of me while watching a Horror-Movie!
Of cource I could still use Media Player Classig to watch DVDs, but Power-DVD makes the better picture on my tv.
But back to Topic.
So, i could change the Audio-Device before starting Power-DVD and then change it back to play LfS.
Well thats not very comfortable, but it could work.
Does anyone know what happens in Windows when I change the default-Audio-Device? Is it just a Registry Setting? If I know what happens I could write a little program for that.
I'm driving in 4 leagues at the moment. VR-Masters and VR-Longrun, V8-Cup and a the Teamcup of my team.
For the VR-Leagues you have to pay a small amount to participate (4€ per month) but I'd rather pay and have clean and fast races and a good management of the league than to drive with random people in a cup where there are always some guys that don't really know what they're doing.
I read an articel in a Gamemag where readers could test GTLegende before it was released. All of them hat problems keeping the car on track except one guy. When asked he told: "Well, I play Live for Speed online everyday". That made me curious.
So 2 years and 231936 Km later here I am.
I have bought a new monitor recently. Got a 22" Wide Display. Now with the new resolution 1680x1050 I recognized that the tire-temperature-display is a little messed up in the FO8 and the BF1. With 1024x768 everything is OK.
As you can see in the attached picture the display of the tempereature is drawn right over the surface of the tires.
I'm sure this is a small change for scawen but would be a giant step for mankind.
If this has already being mentioned before... I did it again.
edit: I was just told that in 1920x1200 its also wrong.
