Real Solution #9 (Mambo Mania Mix)

it's on Super Sexy Swinging Sounds. Its a remix cd of the Astro Creep 2000 cd. I actually like the remix cd more than the original, which is saying a lot as most remix cds suck. this one, does not.

Quote from BlueFlame :I'm aware of that but there are Acura cars which aren't Honda's. They are classed as Acura's and there is no Honda equivilent.

that might be true, but the NSX isn't one of those.

Quote from BlueFlame :That's an Acura, not a Honda.

Acura is a division of Honda. also, Acura doesn't exist in japan, and any overlapping cars are Hondas. Honda was going to introduce the Acura brand in japan later this year, but have pushed it back until at least 2010.

without seeing what you are doing, it is impossible to say if you need more or less throttle when rev-matching. if i had to guess though, i'd say you probably aren't giving it enough throttle. you typically want to over-shoot the target rpm by a little, say 500-1000rpm depending on how quickly your car revs, so that when you let off the throttle, shift, and let off the clutch, the rpms have fallen to where you actually want it. if you only rev to your target rpm, when you shift and let out the clutch, the rpms will have fallen to below where you actually wanted it.

yes, that would make a 3d picture, but not a "moving" one.

you can also do 3d stereoscopic photography by taking a picture, and shifting ever so slightly to one side and taking the picture again. put the images together in photoshop, and then use special glasses or just cross your eyes until the images merge, and voila, 3d. but again, not moving

instructions and more examples, again, not moving

Quote :I used photo shop to separate the photographs in 4 or 5 laysers with. I airbrushed out the forground elements from the background layer. Then I imported them into sony vegas (however after effects will work just fine) and used the keyframe to to resize each layer at it's in and out points.

i'm not going to get into whether or not he was telling the truth, or even the whole story, and just give advice over what was stated...

first off, intent to sell is a very serious charge. my personal advice is that you contact a lawyer, and be absolutely 100% truthful with him.

and when you go to court, be respectful to the judge. that means. yes/no maam or yes/no sir, or even yes/no your honor. also, dress respectfully, that means a suit, or at the very least dress pants and a button up shirt. judges don't take kindly to people that are rude to them, and this seems especially true for teenagers that are rude to them. but definately lawyer. at least contact one, even if you don't have them represent you in court, they will have extremely valuable info for you.

Quote from tristancliffe :Weight for weight many woods equal or beat steel in terms of strength and rigidity.

Having said that, I'm not sure it'd make a good supercar material

without proper treatment, wood breaks, where metal would bend.

what i'm not sure of, is energy absorbtion in the "crumple zones" on the wooden car. how well would the wood compare to metal in these areas?

Quote from AbsolutMartini :and otherwise well let's say Suzuka.

Suzuka has been one of my favorite tracks since i first played Ferrari 355 Challenge. Also, have to through in Road Atlanta. Great Track. Also really like Tsukuba. If any of those 3 made it, i'd be happy. If i had to pick just one, i'd probably go with Road Atlanta though.

if you just care about reading/writing, then a book will likely be fine. as someone who taught himself japanese (and then later took classes and got much better, and did so faster in class), you can do just fine from books and audio tapes.

but...you have to be very disciplined about it. you basically have to make yourself practice a lot. also, make sure that that the sources are teaching you the correct stroke order for the characters, because that is how you look up characters you don't know in a dictionary.

and to racer y, you don't think that the student in your example will have the same problem if they learned the language from a book? if you have a teacher, particularly one that is a native speaker, they can add more info about grammar and the meaning of words that might get left out of the printed material.

i completely understand not being able to take classes, but you should try and find a local group that you can go to occasionally that will be able to help you out. you can only learn so much from a book.

Quote from jscorrea :Victor,

This script dont work anymore:

Any problem in pubstats or problem in my idkey?

Regards,

JS

i just tested that link with my IDKey, and it worked. well, i should say that it worked after i removed the space from "version". did you intend for that space to be there? if not, could be the source of your problem.

Quote from StewartFisher :That's pretty much the same method I used to increase the contrast in my shot, except that I just eyeballed the histogram and set the white point to the highest luminance value in the histogram

that's what i do most of the time if i like the color of the image and just want to adjust the brightness or contrast, but by using the highlight/shadow color pickers, it actually adjusts the histogram on all the color channels, and so has more of an effect on color. sure, you could adjust the histograms of the individual channels manually, but i like this technique because it is quick and precise. the original shot had a more blue "wash" to it, and wanted to take some of that out and make it more neutral, which is why i used the color pickers.

Quote from halo :Nice shots guys.
I took these pics with Tamron 80-210, f 3.8 legacy manual lens.

nice shots halo. looks like there is just a hint of vinetting in those. where you using a couple filters, or was that just from the lens you used? regardless, i think it works really well on these pictures.

Quote from StewartFisher :What white balance did you use for that shot of the moon? My first shot of the moon last night turned out like that because I forgot I'd left the camera set on some crazy custom WB It's quite nice though...I did think of adding some toning to my shot, but I whatever I tried, I kept going back to the B/W version.

i think the WB was on "sun", but that's not what the image looked like straight off the camera.

first, i opened it in photoshop and cropped it.
next, i added a threshold adjustment layer, and set the slider to where there where only a few points of white pixels remaining and clicked ok. then i switched the color sampler tool* and clicked on one of the white pixels. i then did the same thing for black pixels. and then deleted the threshold adjustment layer.

now that the brightest and darkest points in the image marked, i added a levels adjusment layer, and in the levels screen, selected the highlights eye dropper and clicked the bright point, and then selected the shadows eye dropper and clicked the dark point. clicked ok, and then saved.

it sounds like a lot, but it is really a 2 minute process at the longest.

haha...and i though i cropped my shot a lot
seriously though, that's a nice shot of the moon.

and though my focal length a decent bit shorter than yours (300mm equiv), i even had the IS disable for my shot, and think that it turned out well, using the same exposure speed (1/250).
