iRacing will be worth for me. Beacuse it hosts 1 track a week in one car class. I was always looking for something like this and now i finally got it.
The cars also drive superb. Grant it has no pitstops, bending tyres, spotter atm. But it still drives so great that I just couldnt pass on it. I was just able to play it in the last beta wave but I still think its the best out right now and the Netcode is something out of this world. It even beats rFactors hands down and the best of all. It has this incredible Nascar2003 feeling to it wich I was missing in any other game. Well LFS comes the closest here also and games like GTR1,2,rFactor are miles away from it.
I will risk the 1 year subscription and get this 60 iracing dollars worth of money with it. I mean its not really that much after all I spent more in the pub last week.
How can you play with this junk?
According to that page http://www.digitalversus.com/d ... 116&p2=1217&ph=12
This 2 monitor have about the same lag. I used to have the 215TW but couldnt play Nascar 2003 on it anymore, LFS was playable but you could see the delay when turning the wheel compared to the games wheel. I got that pice of shit for free and still gave it back and bought a better gaming one 1 month later which of course wasnt free anymore.
You can hardly experience the real LFS physics on this or any other game physics.
I was just wondering, what kind of monitors, you physics developers of LFS use for testing it afterwards.
I'm asking because today there are so many different LCD monitor out there with big screen, different types of panels and so on... blabla
The point towards I'm going is that most of this pretty big screen monitor have really huge input lags attached to them, hidden by the the company, who is making them.
I had only 2 different LCD monitors during the past 2 years, but one of them "Samsung 215TW" had a so big input lag, that it was horrible playing any racing games on it. My current one is Samsung 226BW with the lowest input lag for a 22" monitor I could find is light years better then the last one.
So I'm just wondering what types of Monitors do LFS developers use, if at all a LCD monitor and what do the drivers use for playing the game as well.
Ah why. LFS's netcode is already very warpy that you wouldnt notice a real difference in performance
But you would have free high ress skins. Now if that isnt something
Also on a side note. I always wondered why they never made it possible to upload your so called high res skins to your own ISPs web space. I mean surely there is no ISP provider nowdays that doesnt offer at last 10Mb free web space and an option to use your own upload for that would also be great to. After all its broddband age.
Well for starters. Its bad that I have to use my credit card on the internet once more for such a stupid thing. Well I would not even if it means everyone driving around yellow, pink....
as for the part of downloading only top high res skills. This could be fixed with user votings for skins and then its set to download only skins which scored 8+ or so.
Well its now 1 year since the last post here and now I'm running Vista and getting the same wired jumps again. Only this time it can not be the coolnq thingy and cpu is in full power mode.
When you start the race it tells you the time from 0-100. It tells you when someone lost control or when he is idle for 30 sec it puts him into spectators. It also announces best sector times and so on.
Well I dont know if you could maybe check it out yourself. Demo Server is Called AOD | FairPlay .
The little green lines bottom left are always maxed out even when I join from LAN and my friend whos ping to me isnt more then 10ms.
It doesnt even use 20% of my total upload.
I just setup a server and when about 8 people connect I notice that the text massages are being delayed and times when crossing the line.
Its wired cuz I got 760kbps upload or about 90kB/s. This should be more then enough for 11 players. Firewall is off and router is open so why do all the connections top out and text is delayed?
So what exactly is used for the 900 hardlocks? Cuz my locks sound like they gonna brake anytime soon. When the autocalibration on start kicks in it goes first right which sounds like hitting rubber then it goes all the way left and sound like hitting plastic stuff which isnt really tight. Just hope it wont wreck on me on its own.
My wheel makes the same noise in both directions or similar to same. Like in movie when turned to right.
But its still left abit noiser then to right if i turn it really fast. Now I dunno how stong was the recording on that movie but doesnt sound anything like that when turning to right. Abit more tinny bit different but not like that.
But this is for sure the motor direction sounding like that.
I can see a problem if you go for 900° turns during a night even without FF. I had a momo Racing before which was much lauder anyway then I got a MOMO Force which is just a tinny bit noiser. Or maybe not it just make a more electric noise. Well it sound healthy and since I dont use more then 275 degress shouldnt be a problem at night.
I dont bother with BF1 cuz the netcode cant take the speed. Its so warpy. But love the V8 but its same bad warp on starts also.
Im still waiting for the day when they will boost the 20 car limit and make a better netcode.
How many unlocks per month you get and whats the total number you can have? I was sure it was 3 but I only had 2 for the past several months and now 1 cuz I had use one for windows reinstall. illepall
ALWAYS
In a big grid at last 2 wont move and some will warp bad on fast stragihts.
Go download some big race replays and you will see how bad it is. http://www.owrl.de/request.php?80
Yeah this one is still in works more or less. It had autoracing mod but it was warpy just like LFS. However the movie looks impressive again.
I play this one for fun also. http://www.sa-mp.com/
Car sync is better the LFS lol. Only problem is bullets sync but you can imagine how fast bullets fly compared to cars in LFS
and all this on 100 player servers. Try it out its great fun to do drivebys with some people and steal others money or loose a million in the Casiono
No cuz this is not your connection problem but just the netcode is that bad. Last race on OWRL. It was really horrible. About 4 people warped on start and on the fast straight cars were just lagging around until it settled after some corners. We were even doing LAG check lap so dont tell me the netcode is so great lol.
