It's not completly to be used on LFS, as I have my computer which runs it great, however I wanted something which was decent around the house and to play LFS when I'm in the kitchen

I tried firing her up again, to see if it boot, and it did! Couldn't believe it!!

I think it will probably go again soon though, it's been hammered all day, everyday but it is still fast.

To cut the long story short, my laptop which is a Fujitsu Siemens PI 2512 has blown up on me :P! I have had trouble with the chargers and keyboard very recently, as it has been abused for the last 2 years, which showed no sign of mercy until the last few months.

It was the better spec one with the 2GB ram - I paid £380 - 400 marks for it (That's the cheapest I could find it at the time off eBay).

Anyway, I had trouble with chargers, and today I got a new one, it was a 'LI SHIN' charger and it after using it all day, it died . Tried different power chargers to see if it was just the charger, and there was no response either.

I'm after a new laptop, has to be good looking! and powerful, such as 2GB-4GB ram with atleast 120GB HDD space with a processor around 1.8 twin core (if it's called that).

Any suggestions?

I used to have a Relisys 17" TFT which I no longer use. Although I baught a Sony Bravia TV 32" for my room and decided to give it a bash on the computer! It's massive but well worth it - especially when you get use to it!

Yeh, I think i'll stick to it! I like the fact that you can just put in anything, and it automaticly put's it in google. There also seems to be a spell check too :S But when I put 'google' in it says that I've spelt it wrong!

I've just installed it, and it seems to be quite fast but it looks quite simple to use too.

Yes please, Im not sure if that's the correct file though? I downloaded the insim off here, although I read through and it stated that if you want to start with XFG then change that code.

He stated that to open the .sln file and edit it, but I found the code in a different file and it still didn't work :S

I'm finding the server appauling. The so called member's don't do anything about the ramming in there or the police, who pull you over for doing 1 mph under the speed limit and book you.

I was also told by a member 'f**k you' and then I was banned. Although im not complaining, the ban was a favour to get me out of there. I'm also finding many peoople beeping there horn's in ques.

On a positive note, it's a good insim. It's got many facilites although it tend's to be laggy, plus the server sometime's loses connection to random players.

I just feel that it need's much more policing, and the member's need to be sorted out. Apart from that, it's very enjoyable and an exiciting server.

Yeh, I don't think it's against the rules, although it make one hell of a difference with your Laptime for sure! I must admit, I have done it on LFS and karting, although when someone is doing it to me I don't like the fact were so close and the driver behind could wipe me out easily enough by mistake. It's good fun in close races - especially when your working with someone to catch up the pack in front :Eyecrazy:

Today I was acused of interupting a teamspeak server, which messed up the league 'apparently'. Oh, and they said, I was screaming down it? This 'certain' user acused me with, not a piece of evidence, and publicly announced that I was an idiot - Discrimination against my name?

This person has always had it in for me, although so has the team infact! Is this allowed on the servers?

I can assure you that I drive very sensibly, giving other competers 'plenty' of room. And very willing to give out 'helpful' advice

1) Dive for the inside, if you know your certainly going to get him
2) if on a slow corner try dropping down the gears, so you can achive the most run out of the corner.
3) Try keep as close as his car as possible, even a little rubbing of the wing mirrors! and take advantage of the rumble strip!

When your eating and driving,

Taking racing lines in the local supermarket

Having a break and working on your setup

and having 'visions' on the main road.. Oh it's an XRT

And playing on LFS at New year's day at 12 in the morning.

Although none of these I do!

Im not to sure about this but wasn't the most efficent speed to try on a motorway 56MPH? But this is probably encounters tick over revs on the engine.

Has anyone noticed when the car is idle it doesn't use any fuel?
