I am pleased to announce the opening the new championship MRc to be held from Monday, May 31 8:00 (French time) until Sunday, June 6 to 20 hours (French time). You will understand that the championship will last one week non-stop, the first driver with the most points will win a license S2.
The Fun Racing League comes back to one race per week for the next Trophy, that will feature the FBM and will be held during June, starting the 1st (tuesday).
FBM enthusiasts are expected to participate in this fast paced Trophy with four races in four weeks, located at Aston National Reversed, South City Chicane Reversed, Westhill International and Blackwood GP. The Trophy alternates between two-round sprint races (25 minutes per round) with top 8 reversed in the second round, and one-round races with a mandatory pitstop (50 minutes long)A 15 minutes hardcore qualifying session takes place before the start of the race to decide the grid order.
The FRL April/May RB4 Trophy has come to an end with a surprising result. Coming into the last round RRT|CRNI had a 21 points lead over closest man [Q3]makakazo. This looked difficult to overcome, especially in a sprint race where the top 8 drivers of the first round reverse their positions for the second one, but the upset finally happened.
Qualifying was again difficult as the hardcore mode only allowed for 4-5 clean laps on a fast HL setup in 15 minutes. With 28 cars in a 1:25 seconds track finding a clear space to attack proved to be quite challenging.
Wisniewski repeats his win at South City Long from last years' OWRL F1
After a long break of three weeks the drivers headed to South City to score some points at the Long circuit of the track. The race is the longest of the season and is one of the highly expected races of the season, just like the Monaco GP, with the exception that overtaking is possible here. Quentin Benoît, the current leader of the World Championship, was looking to keep his lead against the current champion Adam Wisniewski, who was on a roll in the past South City races.
Again Jarl Teien was the fastest driver in the first qualifying.
Because our current schedule clashes with some other leagues, we have decided to change the dates where needed. Most of the rounds are just moved one week further, except for round 4 and the last one.
These new dates should attract more drivers for the races and add live commentating during the streams. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The first round of the Apex Cup was held this Friday. Aston North was the track for this round and with the exciting Formula V8 as car it seemed to be an interesting combo to start the season with.
At the end of the qualification session it was Jan Wiechowski who took the pole for the sprint race. Behind him was Nolan Scott from ineX-Racing.

Wisniewski strikes back at the second round of the OWRL F1
The second round was held at the Kyoto National Reversed circuit. The track is smaller than Aston GP which would lead to many blue flag situations with 25 drivers, especially in the first qualifying. Nonetheless sixteen drivers were within one second in Q1, with Adam Wisniewski leading the pack. He and his teammate Mantas Brazinskas were alongside with both drivers of Sonicrealms Racing, Raptor-Gaming and Green and Yellow F1 Racing Team. The Top 10 for Q2 were completed by Tariq Gamil and Quentin Benoît, the winner of the season opener.
In Q2 the cars were filled with the amount of fuel they intended to start the race with.
"Racing should be fun", and it sure was in this second round of the RB4 April/May Trophy!
Drivers arrived at Aston Club for the second round with high expectations and a full grid was ready to take on this short track. With fastest man during pre-qualify [Q3] Guiouton not being able to participate, trophy leaders RRT|CRNI and [Q3] makakazo looked the strongest drivers on the time sheet. The race was scheduled for a 15 minutes hardcore qualifying session, and two consecutive 20 laps sprint races, lasting about 25 minutes each.

Quentin Benoît wins OWRL F1 season opener in Aston
The 2010 season of the OWRL F1 was going to be the biggest compared to their three previous seasons with the largest grid. Especially on the small tracks the two-part qualifying and the 305km races will be a challenge for the 28 drivers. But the seasons’ first race was on the Aston GP circuit with as much room for all cars as needed. The top 10 of the first qualifying will be driving in the second part with race settings and the amount of fuel they intend to start the race with, so strategy plays a key role here.
The first part however was all about the speed and getting into the top ten.
