It says give, which means you give the pass, and both have unlocked content. We had one or two threads already, and (iirc) the devs haven't said anything (against or for). That is reselling your license, not giving away your pass to other to unlock!!
I once overclocked radeon 9800 pro and had red alert 2 (the name of a game) crashing because of that. First I thought it was software related because it crashed at exactly same place/time in the game, but then it turned out to be overclocking. I don't say this is the case with you here, but sometimes symptoms make it look like it is software related, when in fact it turns out to be hardware(OC or faulty) caused.
If the devs would have put horn into F1 car, then all the noobs would drive it and then tell all other noobs that real formula1 cars got horns, because LFS has, and it is real in LFS.
Today I experienced two times this bug:
A player connecting.
It lasts for very long time, many minutes, maybe more. I experienced it on two different servers, and after all everyone had to close LFS, because they couldn't pit or exit or anything else.
Gremlin, if you're reading this...
I know for sure quite many cracked something in their lifes, some program, or windows, game, whatever. But you gotta understand, Scavier is not Microsoft, and if you have any respect for the devs, get 36euros and pay for S2, right now. 1 month of ban might seem a little too harsh, but that "be gentle on me" ???
I disagree with you Strobe the 'ring is the pinacle of racing. Even a sim as outdated as SCGT still has people playing it and a community because it had the Green Hell and the intrest it brought.
I don't personally have experience with Sports Car GT, but I bet it is less realistic, and more arcadish than lfs. While driving the ring may feel nice with an arcade game, it is really a different thing with tyre wear, damage model, grass/dirt sticking to tyres etc etc. It would often be pain for regular LFS-ers.
but at the same time I couldn't help but feel that Eric's talents would be better served recreating other, more accessible real life tracks
Exactly my point. I would love to have real life tracks, but more accessible and more noob-compatible than the ring. I know some hardcore simracers want the ring in the game, but LFS is about realistic physics and accessible on-line gameplay in the first hand, then others.
Oh come on cut the Dev's some slack. Polyphony Digital had over 100 people there taking down data to get the track right. We have 3 devs. There is no reason why you should want them to walk around the entire track taking notes.
LFS is LFS.
Amazing is Amazing
Anybody make sense of this post?
I actually do . Just think about how much time, effort and money would cost putting the 'ring into the game, and how many other popular, real and not-real tracks the devs (especially Eric) could make with same time/effort/money.
After S3, that's a different story. If it ever will appear in LFS, I'm sure I will have to try hotlap it at least for some time
