You do realize that the Max was most likely recorded at the launch. Purpose built drag cars regularly have 2.5+ G's at the launch.

It may be a little high but It's not unreasonable.

You are correct. It costs Roughly $2000 USD to own an iPhone 3g with the cheapest two year plan.

However If you already want/have an iPhone Or it is unlocked. It would be worth it although From the few reviews I've read it is not very accurate.

Edit: According to that video though it seems to be Pretty accurate. But I'd have to see more than one video like that to confirm it doesn't really suck.

I used to MTB I haven't had much time to get back into in latley. I was more of a Downhill guy But I recently sold that after a Torn ACL and Miniscuis. But I still have my singlespeed and I hope I can get into some endurance events next year.

I agree I usually set my veiw as low as possible and the wheel is a bit higher than I'd like it.


For the head movement settings I have .9 set on everything I could use a little more prob 1.3-1.5 But anymore than that is a little distracting.

They are great learning bikes but You will most likely grow out of it very quickly. And they are in very high demand

I would reccomend buying one as a starter bike and If you feel you need something larger It will sell quick provided you dont beat the crap out of it.

I think it's very hard to feel the lag (or lack thereof) in lfs. All of the turbo cars seem to feel "ok" Most stock turbocharged cars do not have very much turbo lag. They have properly sized turbochargers for a daily driving application. It's once you start modifying that lag plays a larger role.

My only problem with the lfs turbocharger is the fact that it builds boost very linear (ly?) It doesnt really seem to grow exponentionally. Not sure how to word it correctly.

edit: I just base this off of memory which is not very good. I would have to drive the tbo cars around a bit to get a feel for the physics of the turbochargers in game before I made any real suggestions for improvements.

There is no reason for a wastegate to mount on the dump/exhaust. Where they mount is the opposite of a dump.

Also It doesnt have very much to do with releasing pressure quickly. If a wastegate cannot flow well enough especially on a large turbo/low boost setup you will suffer from boost creep at higher rpms/engine load.
