Why not get afew people to organise a weekly event where at the start of the week, the main people upload a setup for the public and have a time attack on the track/car given. Yes it wouldnt work 100% because people can change the setup, but, im sure all you LFS drivers are pretty keen on being the fastest genuinely.

Me and my brother tend to do that all the time, we are currently using a setting as if its wet and slippery in the BF1 around SOlong.

Winner of the week could get something small? Maybe a mini/tiny trophy in their signature so they could display it.

If not like that, the winner can post a setup where people try to get the fastest lap time the next week. Might help with having something new and different to do.

A 24hour server? maybe? Where people can enter and exit whenever they want and the laptimes stay at the top..?

Just a thought, would be fun. People already post setups here and there and people try them out.

I guess this year is a lucky year, going to watch a GP race for the first time. Ive only mainly been to A1GP, V8 Supercars and just aussie events, but Im not 100% sure on specific details at a GP race.

Just wondering if people could fill me in on some details.

You can get Grandstand tickets or General Admission. General is alot cheaper and i can choose pretty much where i want to sit, but what i was thinking, if im in General and want to go to afew points on the track during the race for example, whats the point when walking the track would take the length of the race? Then i was thinking two pass grandstand seats so ive got a good spot in two locations around the track, but can only stick to one a day.

Just curious if im allowed to go through the general admission points when ive got grandstand tickets, or do i have to stay put in the grandstands?

And to anyone IN Melbourne that is going or knows about it, is there much transport near the track, ill have a hotel near the track but are there much trains or busses?

Im pretty fit though, im 80kg/6ft 1/18 years old. But still, tiny pain just breathing, pain when i cough or sneeze etc, strong pain when ive done a ton of work out or activity. Wake up with pain and alot of flem. I regret taking up smoking, thats for sure.

I smoke a pack of 25 or more a day. I smoked winfield/marlboro reds (16mg) for 2 years straight everyday more then a pack and for the last year ive been smoking 20-22mg camels or lucky strikes and white ox which is 32mg. I chain smoke alot too, normally 3-4 in a go or if im abit stressed out, 7-10 or more. When i get upset ill end up chain smoking a whole pack.

Ill tell ya, chain smoking white ox even just 3 or 4 will knock you out with a migrain.

Last two weeks ive really cut down though, im having almost/under a pack a day. Really proud of myself there.

The facts are pretty discusting when you think about it. 25 smokes minimum a day = 9125 ciggarettes a year. 146,000mg of tar a year from winfield/marlboro reds in my system. Messed up ay?

I just hit 18 years old and got my licence when i was 17. Lost my licence for 3 months, 2 months in. So ive had my licence for 9 months. Was speeding 90kph in a 50 kph zone. Stupid ay? Gets more stupid. Got my licence back, calmed down abit on the road, but not for long. Was going 235kph in a BMW 320i, which was redline in 5th gear and 210kph in a Subaru liberty RX. Not once or twice, all the time when i had the chance. Got caught one day. Ive now lost my licence for over a year and have to go to court to see where im going to end up in life. Ive done alot of street racing through alot of national parks where the roads are all bends and hills which are pretty extreme. Never lost against anyone. Almost lost my life alot of times though.

So im here, not to 'toot my horn' or showoff. Am i proud? I was proud at the time until i looked at the big picture at what i was doing. Risking other peoples lives, and my own on the road. I leave this post in embarrasment about what i did on the road, i wont even go into detail of the things i would do on the roads.

Ill tell anyone who is on the road speeding. I know speeding may be out of just enjoyment and not trying to hurt anyone, but it's just not worth it. Its retarded. Its stupid. Its beyond stupid. I got a CRG KT1 recently thinking ill be able to race this year. Because i have no licence,i cant get to the tracks, so i cant race on the track, and having a passion to race, im sure many of you have, it f*cking sucks not to be able to race for a very long time, because of stupidity.

Ok, how can i do that? I tried the Direct X installation that came with the setup but i need a internet connection. I dont have a connection on my computer at the moment. Im using my sisters computer next door.

I downloaded this game yesterday and cant get it working. When im choosing a session and hit race either nothing at all comes up, or it says "d3dx9_38.dll" file is missing or something around that. I downloaded the file and put it in the windows/system folder and still nothing worked. Could anyone help me on this?

IMO, i think the VW is finished, or close to it. Why they haven't released it i reckon is because of the LFS physics. I think the devs want/need to fix the damage physics and few other parts before releasing it, so the VW can properly be "advertised" if that makes sense.

I remember when GT3 was released they interviewed the owner of the series and he said he wanted damage in GT3 but back then, not all the car companies were happy with their cars being damaged and driven, which could be bad way to advertise their cars.

Maybe its the same now, VW could have said to LFS, fix a few things and you have the license to release it, we aren't happy with our VW flipping into the sky from a nudge to a wall.

At the same time, maybe not. Maybe the VW isn't finished.

My bet, Christmas patch will be an update with the interiors, physics etc.

Next year early/mid '09 they will finish off s2 with the rest of the features that needs to be done, with the VW.
