Ofcourse i know many wouldnt agree, but i enjoy driving the mrt5.

I would love to see a server up with mrt5 on autocross racing and club/cadet racing only, with some sort of system up to keep it clean.

Or a MRT league with decent laps (20-30laps)

PS3 - TV question

What im after, is to know how its possible to hook up a ps3 on two seperate tv screens, or to mimic the tv's. They are both LCD so i know there are no outputs on the screens.

So is there any way to get a double adapter or a split cord to run the ps3 on both screens?

The reason being is because im hooking up my pc and ps3 to my cockpit, so i can play both off that screen, but if i want to watch a dvd or play a different game, i can use the main tv, saves me from having to sit in a cockpit to play anohter game.

Quote from ATC Quicksilver :Yet drivers like Kovalainen keep on being forgiven for bad performances, get him out of that Mclaren and replace him with Sutil.

Not, havent, and wont be a Lewis fan, but thats straight up truth.

I had my laugh seeing him crash and all, but its true, watching him was more spectacular and interesting then "the other" Mclaren driver....

...forgot his name..

All i could remember was Lewis leading, the brawns flying and Kimi and Sutil just hanging in there. Forgot that other Mclaren driver.

You've missed the point, I agree with your post but it has nothing to do with that, just a statistic for the devs to see what the community is after. Absolutely nothing to do with democracy or us being in charge.

It maybe isn't a good idea, just came in to my head, thought it MAY be useful, but it may not be too.

Just a thought i was thinking. Shoud the community here hold a vote here for what they are after in LFS?

I know theres 1000's of threads saying improvements and what people want, but the shit that comes out of those threads sometimes, makes me think would the developers really look at them?

I was thinking someone well known in the community or a moderator hold a thread on the General LFS discussion forum with a poll. If possible to ban posts in the thread, if not, whatever.

Make it official or something, maybe it will show the devs an idea of what people are after, using stats, rather then winging and ranting. Something maybe like..

What are you after in the upcomming LFS releases?
OR
What is most important to you in a simulation?
OR
Something along the lines of them..

-Tracks
-Cars
-Physics
-Graphics
-Features
-RL realism (pit crews/damage) etc
-and so on.

Maybe we might see something different rather then just winging about new content. Maybe we might see what the community really wants, and just maybe the developers may note that poll, and think, lets focus on this now after our checklist etc.

Maybe too, we need 100 disclaimers and warnings in the post too, because as IMO its a brilliant idea, i know the thread itself wont end up well.

What do you all think? Im talking more to the older LFS users (not age). But this poll should be for everyone.

Quote from 5haz :Getting a reputation is one thing, keeping it up is another.

Remember that although F1 cars are very similar now, Fishy will still be stepping straight from a car with certain handling characteristics, to another car which may handle completely differently, with no testing thanks to the utterly stupid ban.

I don't expect too great results from him at this race, but I think if Ferrari give him enough of a chance he will be up there (you could say the same for nearly any driver on the grid though I guess).

+1, was thinking that the whole time.

Might as well give him high heel shoes. Hes mastered walking in normal shoes, but now hes in a different form of shoe.

LOL, worst example ever!

Hi.

Im very interested in modifying the G25 to E and getting the ARC wheel itself when its released.

How much would it cost for both of these together? incl. shipping etc?

Thankyou.

Has anyone seen the prestiege version with the night vision goggles? I would like to know if they are any good!!

Does anyone know if the prestiege version would be avaliable when MW2 is released? OR was it a special offer one time only kind of thing?

Quote from legoflamb :The beta-testers making a trustworthy opinion on the physics/handling of the Sirocco in LFS begs the question: What experiences have the beta-testers had with the Sirocco in RL, and what kind of "credentials" do they have with performance driving/racing?

Are there VW test-drivers beta-testing?

Are there experienced racing-drivers beta-testing?

Who are these beta-testers?

Of course answering the question of 'who' would not be a good idea, because of the harassment they might/will get from eager LFS players.

Check the credits when you exit LFS. theres a list of the beta testers there.

Quote from zeugnimod :He posted the video on a forum visible for everyone; why shouldn't there be a discussion about it and why shouldn't negative opinions about it be voiced?

And if you liked the video, why would it be "wrecked" for you when others didn't like it?

Because mate, its good to keep peace to a tribute video. The only commotion and disrespect thats part of this video is the negative opinions being said.

Quote from Falcon140 ::twocents:

I think Lizard's videos are done in the most professional way possible given the subject. It does show the dangers of motorsports and the brave souls lost chasing that rush. The arguments on the morality of watching someone die on video is useless. If you don't wanna see someone die, don't watch the video. Simple as that.

+1

The video opened my eyes alittle bit more about motorsports and seriously how bad it can get. I apprecaite even the most tiny and basic thing in motorsports, but that video made me appreciate the sport even more. It showed me what these men did for their passion and life.

That was their income, their "job" you know. They raced cars to put food on the table, to sleep under a roof. They deserve all the rememberance and credit in anyway, and to show nearly any form of professional tribute.

To give the world a show, pursue their dreams, and put food on the table, isnt simple. Its not like we are making jokes about their deaths.

To wsinda, you need to learn a thing or two about life yourself. One thing nothing about motorsports, is, someone has a vision to make a tribute video, dont go in their way and trolling them just because you dont like it. Thats straight up rude, no matter how much you hate the idea.

I hate alot on the net, but i dont go posting, saying things that may discourage another. What if i hated LFS? How silly of me would it be to rant on this forum saying the realism is fake, your doing it wrong, it shouldnt be like this. I would look like a fool.

Heck, me trolling you now is making me look like a fool, but stress less buddy!

Good video mate, really good!

Getting a new PC rig
aoun
S3 licensed
Hey all, im sure if you have seen afew of my threads lately all ive been posting is help and opinions on what to get. The reason is we (the family) are finnally moving to a new house after many years of working towards it. And we are getting a new PC, new everything, plus im making a cockpit out of MDF too and going to have my own space for that.

What i was asking, i am getting a new PC but am customizing it completely for performance, and i was wondering if people could give me a good idea, or if possible, the best specs out so far.

Stuff like OS, graphics/video cards, memory, HDD etc.

Is W7 the way to go these days or still Vista? and 32-bit? or 64? with which OS?

With video cards, id perfer an nVidia card, but i really have no idea what the best is, and what is needed for it to run to its max performance.

Would anyone be able to come up with a spec list of the best pc that could be put together? That would all run well together. I would love to help out in some other way for whoever, if possible? :S (design?)

Thanks
