I got the one month trail.

I think it was great. The simulation and physics were really really good, close/equal/better then LFS, i cant choose.

But i just did not like the system. Its too RL. LFS is still my number one to play. Quick, Simple and physics wise, realistic. iR just goes a bit too far.

Quote from xaotik :My only gripe on the idea behind the series is that I think it's foolish starting something new aimed for efficiency and essentially copying the same old designs. Ideas to minimize drag, without necessarily enclosing the driver in a bubble, should be welcome in such a venture. Is there any reference on what speeds those karts can attain?

On the site it says 110kph, which is very fast for a kart. At the same time, on the video it says a little more then 30mph (48.2kph). I really don't know what it is, but im guessing its 48kph. Also, you look at the site and its goals is to make a more lower formula style car, and then by 2015 to have a full sized formula zero championship race car.

It does look promising to see them achieve this. In 06, the project was a smaller sized normal kart. They then released the current one this year.

Quote :The Formula Zero race class will begin with karts and scale up to full size racing as this zero-emission technology develops and consumer demand for hydrogen cars increases.

Top International universities will build their own hydrogen fuel cell racing kart and compete against each other on a mobile race track. In 2008 this competition will be a level playing field and each university team will use a Hydrogenics HyPM8 Fuel Cell, pictured below:

Currently, Lewis is the young gun. He is an alien and should be racing space ships.

The NEXT big thing: Vettel. If all goes well with carrier and car, i think he could do alot. At the same time, I and many people could be blind just because he has done well in a poor car, doesn't mean 100% he will do good in a good car. (YES i know that sounds weird, but thats the truth).

And with Massa + Wet weather. I am still going to say he is the same old driver. Not a top wet weather driver, but hes just a normal wet weather driver. It was wet in Monaco, he didn't do bad there. He made one error, but I'm sure alot of others did too, you just dont see EVERY error on TV. You cant think less of him just after one bad race IMO. (IE, Silverstone..)

Pretty Off topic, but as i was selecting my car today to drive in LFS, i noticed its a grid view of all the cars and there the right ammount to go vertically and horrizontally. Now with this car there is going to be another car added on the car select shot, which means the car select shot is going to have to be changed.

Could we see something new and cool? or just the same ol thing with smaller car icons..?

Does anyone also think there could be an update in the garage too? I would love to see a change in the garage layout.

Is there more to "easter egg" then just an egg?

Im certianly thinking of something.....

[sniff]bananas burning...[/sniff]

-demo user
-"cant afford LFS"..
-all games do have "easter eggs" if your thinking what im thinking..
-easter eggs can.. "crack"

..at the same time, there are heaps of games that have actual easter eggs throughout the game, or something else thats random.

Quote from mythdat :shrug... The Same Thing Happened At Hockenheim And Nobody Got Punished. That's Your Precedent, Forget About All This Gp2 Rubbish. Gp2 Is Not F1.

In Fact This Happens Nearly Every Other Race And Nobody Ever Gets Punished... How Many Times Have We Seen Cars Side-by-side In The Pitlane And Nobody Punished (hint: Lots). But Yeah, As Soon As A Ferrari Is Involved It's "omg Conspiracy"

Quote from Intrepid :Massa did great but rules are rules. The FIA couldn't punish Hamilton quick enough in France when he passed Vettel.

The FIA clearly made a note to enforce this ruling hence the GP2 crackdown, but when it came to the big one - Ferrari - we all KNEW they weren't going to do jack.

In fact they have deemed what massa did as breaking the rules, buit apparently overtaking and going wide is worse! lol same old same old

Intrepid, You sound like James Allen!?!

Quote from ATC Quicksilver :I think they are trying to pay for the track, Alonso got the same fine for crossing a pit entry line. It's stupid really, and not consistent with what happened in the GP2 race. I am happy that they didn't give him a grid penalty though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaka_sign

That made sense to me and its used alot in Australia, it just seemed funny how Massa did it over and over and over, normally its directed at someone...ONCE. Wiki says various meanings, like "all right", "cool", "smooth", etc.

Makes complete sense to me now.

On racing side,

Massa is fined 10,000 Euros. No penalty.

Me being a big Massa fan/supporter, even i think that is stupid. Either he get penalized (time taken off or 10 spot grid penalty), or he gets away with it (or warning), that was my opinion. Alonso goes over the pit lines and gets the same fine where Massa put another driver, pit crew and himself in danger. Whats going on here?

Question: What the heck is Massa doing with those hand gestures? I don't get what it is... He was doing it while finishing, then when he got out of the car, then weighing himself, then on the podium!

They are now saying most should be a 10sec penalty.

Ps, James Allen really is a c*ck!

Quote from Kid222 :Last what i remember from quali was Allen's mistake, when he was expecting Elwis on pole and said something like "Does Massa beat Lewis's time? No, he didnt!... *green time difference appears* ...yes, he does!" Then i was rofl-ing for 5 more minutes. Thank you James!

I remember that commentary. What an d**kh**d. It shows he is way too far whipped over Lewis. It said Massa pole and he replys No, he didnt!. He had to look twice instead of just looking at it once and seeing what happened.

You never know what can happen if you drink drive, especially with a modified car to go faster.....

My own opinion, leave the car stock. Why would you want it faster on the roads? To race? To prove your faster? If that's the case, beat them with a stock car, better feeling... (Im just saying, it would be, right?)

If you want it modified for looks purposes, forget it. Why waste your money. Wait til your 5 years down the track you might think to yourself, i need $ x money, but i spent too much on my car.

The only thing i would ever suggest is sound system. I love my music. I enjoy listening to music when i drive sometimes.

Maybe a 3000 watt RMS system?
