Am I the only one who finds this game.. or "sim" ridiculous? I know its in its beta stages etc, but I cant trail brake, I cant power slide, I bog the kart on every single exit ridiculously. I could change my driving style, but im driving this "sim", how I drive a kart in real life. Could i get some feedback off someone who does karting themselves..? I know i have a different chassis and engine myself, but i highly understand atleast the basics of the karting physics laws and i just cant get along with this sim. Is it the sim or should i just STFU? On the base setup i was doing shocking 47s. I had to loosen the pods and rear bumper which gave me an extra 3 sec difference putting me in the 44s.. but i cant even push the thing. :/

I actually have an interesting question, and id like to see if anyone here would do it.

The same thing applies for this forum yes? If there was to be a naked girl, her nipples would be censored yes?

IF yes, then would this work.

Photoshop male nipples onto the female boobs and keep it uncensored. Technically, it would be allowed, right?

Quote from Vettel :"overtaking in f1 has always been difficult," vettel told la gazzetta dello sport. "whoever manages to get past gets the same sort of admiration as a goal scorer in football.

IMO, well said, he hit the nail spot on.

They are censored because of the same reason you wouldnt want your wives/girlfriends walking around the streets with no shirt/bra..

Hard to discuss whos best for which seat. Heidfield? Senna? Kubica? etc..?

At the end of the day, afew years back when Webber was in Williams/Jaguar, people didnt take note of him. When Massa was in Sauber, same goes. In the right car (yes ok, both missed championships), look where they progressed! People saying Heidfield is average etc, Put him in a RB or Ferrari and then lets see. Same goes with Senna, he had a shocking car, however, if he landed the seat with brawn (as we remember how quick the brawns were) everyone would have been saying ZOMG! SENNA!!!!!! because he would have perhaps won the WDC off his first year, if not, did what rubans did.

Quote from Dennis93 :I don't know if you want to become huge and full of short muscles you can use for flexing at the beach, or you want something that you can actually use.

It sounds like from what I can see on the schedule that it is the first you try to accomplish, that's why i think it's retarded, but whatever floats your boat really

EDIT : looking around too much whilst driving a car can also provoke dizziness when driving a car, or being a passenger.

I find the human body amazing, especially when it comes to building it. Im not a beach person nor do i show off, but i know your not saying i am.

Schedule is a split training program, works perfect if the fluids, eating and rest are fully concentrated on and put as high priority.

Ive also been told looking around while driving can be a cause, but once again, never had this problem before. :/

Quote from tinvek :have you had any ear problems, severe head colds, tooth / jaw pain recently ?

it could easily be a problem with your inner ear, see your doctor may just be an infection or it could be the start of something like menier's disease. i suffer from a mildish case, i'm ok but rollercoasters etc are a complete no no, even fairground roundabouts can cause me problmes with my balance and give feelings of nausea. alan shepard the astronaut suffered from it which was why it was so long between his first and second flights and why it was jim lovels crew on apollo 13 rather than his crew.

The whole ear problems at first i thought would not make sense, but alot of people have told me about this and how it can cause an unbalance in your body.

I HIGHLY appreciate the solutions guys. Ive taken each one into consideration and looked into it.

I ended up practising on my kart the other day, after 20 laps, had to pack up and leave. It got too much to handle and my heart was beating 1000mph. Once again, a first!

Reguarding doctors, My blood tests came back i was all perfect but blood pressure was just a tiny bit low.

Ive got a few more tests and might come with an answer. Thanks alot!

What you assume retarded, thats not what this is about.

Quote from RasmusL :Stop smoking, train less. You don't grow by training, you grow by resting anyway 2-3 times a week should be plenty unless you're doing a sick split program.

Monday - Back
Tuesday - Chest
Wednesday - Legs
Thursday - Shoulders/neck
Friday - Walking/Swimming
Saturday - Biceps/Triceps
Sunday - Rest

8-9 hours of sleep a day. Body has right amounts of protien and carbs, however, iron could be lacking.

It is all evenly spaced out. I wouldnt have thought it could be smoking, as ive been smoking for 6 years compared to alot of others i know who smoke alot more. However, all bodies are different.
Tomorrow I am on the track, and im really going to test myself. If things seem not too well, I'll be booking an appointment with the docs.

Quote from 5haz :Petrol/oil/exhaust fumes might contribute too, I had this problem when testing a car with a leaky exhaust and badly sealed passenger compartment, felt like throwing up after a while in the car.

Motion sickness sounds most plausible, although I've never known a driver to get it, and I don't get why you'd suddenly get motion sickness even though you've been racing/driving for quite a long time I presume?

Yeah, thats more what i have been trying to figure out. I know its motion sickness. I know what it does. Ive never EVER had a problem with long drives, passenger drives, fumes, riding trains or buses backwards. I could read a magazine while being in a car.

My question was how could this all change all of a sudden?

@JP, ill look into that virus within your eyes.

Hey guys, just a question as usual.

I seem to be having a problem lately and it seems to be effecting me quite alot. Lately while karting, and also even on the roads, I have been getting quite abit of nausea after periods of time. It effects my concentration as well as my performance. Ive never had this kind of problem before and it seems to upset me at the same time, as motor racing is a passion for me.

Ive spoken to people, ive researched, though have not yet seen a doctor as its not an extreme case or anything, and i thought id give a shot at a racing community.

A brief background of my lifestyle. I eat healthy, I train 6 days a week, i DO smoke a packet a day (25 cigarettes), my sleep is abit below average. However, i have always been like this and never have had this problem. If im a passenger, the nausea gets way too much for me.

The only lifestyle changes in my life recently have only really been eating healthier, and more of a bigger lifestyle change, ive recently started body building. Now, when i mean body building, 1. i have just started over the past month and a half. 2. Ive only put on afew kilograms (currently 82kg) ..not kai greene or mr olympia so its nothing serious. I spoke to a mate and his opinion is because ive increased on muscle mass and due to training, my iron levels drop and my muscles arnt as relaxed as usual. He recomended increasing my iron, meditating my muscles and stretch after each muscle part trained. However, he only has an insight on training, and has no clue on motorsports.

At first, i agreed with that, as it does make sense, but then i think about others, who would be heavier than me and race too.

Does anyone here have some kind of understanding or knows any reason why my body has been like this? If you need more information, dont hesitate to ask.

Ive got abit of a question, maybe someone can answer here.

I went into Harvey Norman (massive store here) and they had GT5 on a massive TV with a lounge etc set up as a lounge room. I decide to do a race on arcade for fun. I was at Monza with all the supercars (not sure if thats important). Anyway, as i was playing, i noticed the quality. The quality was absolutely amazing. It honestly felt like i was on the track. The shadows were hardly pixelated, The frame rate was perfect. Everything about it was different. I come home and play, and its not as good quality. I use HDMI cables at home. So what could be different?

Quote from Becky Rose :Plusses
  • Went to Amsterdam's Cat Museum (life long dream accomplished!).
  • Went on a roller coaster for the first, second and third time.
  • Career wise 2010 was a huge success.
  • I partied hard and developed more of a social life.
  • Met more friends.
  • Got my finances to a position where next year looks reasonable.
  • I am happy with most aspects of my life and thirsting for fresh challenges again.
Downers
  • Spent the year mostly single with too many first dates and not enough second dates.
  • Not enough sex.
  • Spent the year financially insecure.
  • Had to buy a car.
  • I like the girlfriend [in a friend context] of the ex I never completely got over, she's nice. Damned.
Options For Challenging Myself
I will probably do one of the following in 2011 to enrich my life experience.
  • Considering making a go of it in another country for a bit, i'm well travelled but i've never tried living overseas. I'm thinking Amsterdam.
  • Considering running another LFS championship
  • Considering writing a commercial computer game
  • Considering starting my own business.

Thats not always a bad thing.... ..or am i just being silly?

Quote from 91mason91 :So getting a girlfriend means nothing to you? You say that months/years of chasing down the one you love and finally getting her is NOT an achievement?

Yeh it is i guess, but its a kick in the balls once its over..

..coming from experience..

Finding a girl is NOT an achievement. Anyone here can find a girl, get with her, marry her, f*ck her (sorry), etc. but it takes alot to find the RIGHT girl. You have more chance curing cancer.

Quote from MAGGOT :No it doesn't. Jihad means "struggle," and is most often used in the context of personal struggles of faith. In extreme cases in the scriptures, it references wars in defense of the religion, to protect it from persecution and extinction. In its original message/meaning, it has nothing to do with crusading or offensive action, and certainly does not mandate the killing of those of other faiths.

For someone who is not Arab or muslim, that's the best definition I've ever heard.

Quote from DevilDare :Try telling that to them I guess. You will be lucky not to get a bullet in your head.

And anyway, I was simply replying to Uke's post where he stated that religions teach morals and stuff. Not exactly true.

Explain how its not true.

EDIT:

Quote :Well... Quran states quite a few times actually to kill those who do not accept or believe in Allah... Yeah...

Explain.

I agree with Blue Flame. Before you know it, overtaking will be done by everyone because its possible. It combines the boys from the men and makes them all look like robots.

I say no overtaking gimmicks.. separate the boys from the men.

The article forbidding team orders (39.1) is deleted. Teams will be reminded that any actions liable to bring the sport into disrepute are dealt with under Article 151c of the International Sporting Code and any other relevant provisions.

Meaning what happened in Germany with Massa and Alonso still wont quite be accepted.

Mostly FWD cars for me on any track. Im well suited to RWD cars, although sounds abit silly, I seem to struggle with understeer from a FWD car. I also find the BF1 WITH TC abit hard as its easier to judge the car without TC than with.
