Well I guess it's just one of those unlucky hits. Carbon fibre can be hit in many ways without something happens, but just one false hit and it breaks.
And as far as I know the finish line was behind Vettels Box and because of that, he completed an entire lap with this set of tyres.
Even for Tilke standards it's pretty poor. As already pointed out in the F1 thread, it's just copies different parts from more or less famous circuits.
Compared to some other forums I am around, it is pretty much civilized here. I know forums where flaming is just the normal way to talk most of the time
your paying for a beta game... its always in dev with the issue being that they have 1 guy doing a s*** load of work, testing and such,
scawen should off load all minor work and tweaks to respected coders and likeminded people in the lfs community so he can focus his attention to S3....
but regardless of veiw point on the situation its a headache to do all the work.
Without proper understanding of HOW LFS is coded, it will take ages for Scawen to explain it to others how those "minor work and tweaks" have to be coded to implement them into LFS.
But there are still plenty of people paying a hefty premium for the new mini, which is probably the more important thing.
PS. for the new S2000 machine, does these cars still need to be at least 4m long? I remembered Peugeot was running massive bumpers on their 206WRC to stretch it to 4m.
Just for the record, the Mini Countryman goes back a bit further than that.
Good really to see manufacturer interest in WRC still, now bring back night stages...
Yes, I know, but the old Countryman was still a small car. The new one is just a SUV with Mini design elements. I mean, look at the size of it. The new Countryman is acutally wider than a new 3 series BMW. What's "Mini" about that?
The whole "new Mini" thing with the pretty ugly Clubman and now the even worse Countryman is just a sellout of the old Mini aimed for "trendy" people. And that's what I dislike about the new Mini.
It's a f.cking SUV "styled" Mini. Cars like that have even less purpose than a normal SUV. And I can't think of anything "real" SUVs are good for. They can't handle terrain, the aren't really handling wonders on the streets, most of them are ridiculous small inside compared to the huge dimensions of the car from the outside. And they guzzle petrol because they have the aerodynamics of a brick. Raping the heritage of Mini in Rallying with such a stupid car is just gross.
I might be biased, but looking at the way Argentina sucked against the Germans, and how the Britains lost a goal, (and probably were pretty "upset" with the situation) it is.
Funny this comes from an someone, who is biased just because Austrians can't really stand Germans. Or someone who is jealous just because Austria isn't playing at all.
It will be hard to win the World Cup, but it is possible. And I wish we will win it, just to dig out this post of yours and shove it up your ass
